On our next visit, we'll be traveling with kids whose parents want to use FP+for the children to meet the characters at the MK (near Town Square, if I remember). What I don't know is, if you have children that want to see the characters, do you just need to get a FP+ for them since they're the only ones seeing the characters, getting pictures and autographs? Or do the parents also need to get FP+ in order to stand in line with them? The parents were hoping that only the kids need FP+s, so that they can use another FP+ for an "adults only" ride, which for them might be Splash Mountain or BTMRR.

You will need a FP+ for anyone getting in line. If they are looking for the princesses, they are no longer at the Theater. They are back in Fantasyland now.

The only way the adults wouldn't need a FP+ is if they are sending the kids in alone. If they are older it might work but you miss seeing the moment.

Oh, well-I was afraid of that. In a way, it seemed you might not need a FP+-for example, at TSMM, if you're just going to just stand in line and not do the ride, you don't need a FP, I don't think. But I figured they'd need one. BTW, thanks for the tip about the princesses-they're little girls (4 and 2) and they most definitely want to see Princesses.
