I wanted to share my experience scheduling FP+ for my DSD for a trip she is taking later this week. She and her family are joining us for our trip in October for a few days, and we found that a Florida resident weekday pass was best option for her family. Since she had two weeks before the summer blackout days she decided to plan a quick trip for this Thursday and Friday.
They decided on Epcot for Thursday and AK Friday since we are spending a lot of time at MK in October. I was able to schedule very good FP+ attractions for her. I thought both TT and Soaring would be gone, but both were available. TT was only open a little later in the day, but Soaring was available early. There was no problem scheduling AK attractions at all. I have always been a schedule 60 days in advance planner, so I was pleasantly surprised with what was available.
She was originally considering MK or HS for one day, and even then, other that SDMT, TSM and Anna & Elsa, everything would have been available at those parks as well.
