Hi Everyone,

We recently booked our FP+ and an ADR for Hollywood Studios. We were just wondering, how does it work for the boarding pass system with ROTR? Will we not be able to get a boarding group if the time we receive conflicts with our FP+ or ADR?

They don't interact at all.
(Neither do ADRs contradict FP+.)
Nothing to worry about.

Ok great thanks!!! Do you know if you have several hours to get back to ROTR or is it only an hour window like FP?

It has been TWO HOURS.
(This allows guests with Park Hoppers to actually go to another park, and return to DHS when thier boarding group entry is announced.)
That may or may not change.

It does not create a conflict. Also, reports are that the restaurants have been very accommodating regarding ROTR boarding passes making people late for reservations.

Consider that virtually "EVERY GUEST" at DHS will be in the same frame of mind about RoR and boarding groups, that DHS Guest Relations, in general, will be all about "accommodating" boarding group situations for many thousands of weary and anxious guests.
During this initial (and very trying) time of attempting to satisfy guests (who are also subject to unpredictable RIDE BREAKDOWNS of RoR) the other "normal" activities of DHS can be kind of "loose" regarding normal practices.

I hope so! I have a Fast Pass for Micky & Minnie's Runaway Railway for around 5pm, and an ADR at Oga's Cantina... so I am just worried about balancing all of these while also trying to get a boarding pass that doesn't conflict. I am hoping that if we get there before park opening we will be able to snag an early boarding group (although I know everyone is randomly assigned one).

Just a note, as I understand it, they now have boarding groups with 2 hour return times and 1 hour return times. Not sure if this is still implemented but definitely pay attention to your notifications so you know how long you have.

I have been reading though that World has been accommodating in some conflicts that have arisen because of the boarding pass.

Regardless of how early you arrive before the park opens, everyone who is inside DHS (and there can be thousands, upon thousands of guests crushed into the same holding area) will have the exact same instant (when the app first opens) to try to book a Boarding Group.
Literally thousands, upon thousands of guests all pushing the "same button at the same time."

If you have not been to DHS lately, you have never experienced anything quite akin to this truly unprecedented WDW in-park phenomenon!

Ok thats good to know. I am going to especially keep an eye after March 4th when MMRR opens up... I wonder if we will get a different system than what is in place at this moment.

There needs to be a better way then making everyone exactly at opening time scramble for a boarding pass. Why can’t they create some type of reservation or fastpass?

My guess is because it has been having a lot of down time. By using the boarding passes, if it breaks down, they don't call the next group. They don't want to commit to times.
