I was thinking to do fourth of July in a cabin for 2012. I have never been in the summer. I live in Florida and go to the parks a few times during the cooler parts of the year. I know it is really crowded this time of year so I thought I would just hang out at the campground during the day and go out to a nice lunch and dinner each evening. Would the main pool be too crowded that week? Would it be too hot to enjoy the movie in the evening?
I was hoping to just do walks, rent a boat, swim, maybe shop at Downtown Disney or in one of the parks and not worry about the attractions this trip. Some say to never go in the summer but if I am there just to enjoy the campground and not the parks, would it be so bad?

It is not too hot to enjoy the movie (especially if you already live in Florida), you just have to watch out for bugs.
