Four Seasons in December?

Has anyone stayed there at that time of year? We have a Disney Dream cruise that we're sailing on the week before Christmas, and we'll be arriving late morning the day before, which will leave us significant resort time that we'd like to make the most of while we're in the area. We've stayed at Four Seasons once before in the summer, but never around Christmas. The Four Seasons room rate is surprisingly reasonable, on par with a Disney deluxe for once.

Is it beautifully decorated at Christmas? Is the resort lazy river & pool still open in December? Experiences? Thoughts?

I would call and ask - they are always extremely helpful with any and all questions. We were thinking about a December stay a couple years ago and the person I spoke with there at the time said that the pools are open every day (save a passing thunderstorm when they might temporarily close, but that is almost guaranteed not to happen in December). We wound up not going in December, so I can't speak to decorations then, but we've gone in March, June, July, and August and the flowers and general ambiance have always been absolutely wonderful.

OH MY GOSH...Four Seasons ANYTIME. We got back a few weeks ago from our trip, and I'm still dreaming of my breakfast at Ravello, with the nicest waiter ever. Beyond gorgeous hotel that I would to actually stay at in the future. Such amazing grounds! Next time I'd love to go up to Capa and take in the scenery.....

December is around the corner. The pools are open but I saw like 1 person when we went in early December, pre-COVID. It was too chilly to enjoy pool days. It is decorated.

Anytime is good for the Four Seasons; if you really want the Disney theming than stay onsite, otherwise the Four Seasons is superior in terms of luxury, service, room, setting and they usually have things going on or decor during special Holidays like Christmas. IMO, at this price point the luxury hotels (like Four Seasons or the Ritz) outshine any of the Disney Deluxe in the normal hotel criteria.
