Has anyone tried the four season Sunday brunch buffet? Thinking of trying it on our upcoming trip.

At La Hiki? We go every year. So much delicious food. Unlimited crab legs, jumbo shrimp, omelette station, lobster tails, eggs Benedict, prime rib, pork, and many many other options. It’s pricy, but we find it worth it. Just went this past Sunday as we are heading home today. 64B164D2-5DAA-465D-B905-DB610E873539.jpeg77E98E2F-9A70-4C71-861D-F88D73A6CD9F.jpeg

Interesting. This is the first time I've seen this restaurant talked about. Everybody keeps raving about Mina's Fish House but hadn't heard of this one. Do we need to make reservations well ahead of time or can you just go day of??

Are they back to a buffet? The website still shows a plated brunch

Not day of, barring cancellations I would think. Also on open table they didn’t have the time we wanted (even 2 months out). So we called, booked right at 11 when they open, and for a table for 2 no problems. Gave them our cell phone and it actually showed up in our open table account.

We were celebrating our anniversary and requested a table with a water view and thankfully got one. It’s a view of the ocean with a pool between you and the beach. Not an exceptional view so don’t get your hopes up but it was very nice. Always people between you and the beach but again nice.

I’m having trouble finding on Open Table or the site. What’s the restaurant called? *edited to add that I found it!

yes ofc, only Aulani has steadfastly refused to bring back its buffets
I think they're making such a killing on these stupid family style pre-fixed menus they may never bring back the regular buffets.:sad2: Makahiki used to be fabulous as a buffet now it just looks like any other overpriced menu.

I bet they are. They only need to cook 15 total dishes each night instead of a full buffet, plus less food waste.

I know it’s a Hawaiian delicacy but I can’t wrap my head around the whole pig on display thing. It’s so gross. Pass.

It's no more gross than a whole fish with the head served on a plate to me. (shrug) Being a Marylander, the only whole carcas served thing that doesn't totally gross me out is eating Maryland Blue Crabs!! LOL - which technically is a pretty gross thing when you think about how you tear into them. LOL :rolleyes1 :)

This irks me the most about Aulani. It amazes me they can get away with charging that much for that breakfast. And the photo with the character isn't even included. SMH

Is the four seasons walking distance from Aulani?
