Has anyone tried the four season Sunday brunch buffet? Thinking of trying it on our upcoming trip.
At La Hiki? We go every year. So much delicious food. Unlimited crab legs, jumbo shrimp, omelette station, lobster tails, eggs Benedict, prime rib, pork, and many many other options. It’s pricy, but we find it worth it. Just went this past Sunday as we are heading home today.Has anyone tried the four season Sunday brunch buffet? Thinking of trying it on our upcoming trip.
Interesting. This is the first time I've seen this restaurant talked about. Everybody keeps raving about Mina's Fish House but hadn't heard of this one. Do we need to make reservations well ahead of time or can you just go day of??At La Hiki? We go every year. So much delicious food. Yeah the big Sunday one def isAre they back to a buffet? The website still shows a plated brunch
Not day of, barring cancellations I would think. Also on open table they didn’t have the time we wanted (even 2 months out). So we called, booked right at 11 when they open, and for a table for 2 no problems. Gave them our cell phone and it actually showed up in our open table account.Interesting. For clarity the big brunch is only offered on Sundays. A YouTube video (not prepared by anyone I know) showing the Brunch can be found here.I’m having trouble finding on Open Table or the site. What’s the restaurant called? *edited to add that I found it!

I think they're making such a killing on these stupid family style pre-fixed menus they may never bring back the regular buffets.yes ofc, only Aulani has steadfastly refused to bring back its buffets
That buffet looks incredible! For clarity the big brunch is only offered on Sundays. A YouTube video (not prepared by anyone I know) showing the Brunch can be found here.
I bet they are. They only need to cook 15 total dishes each night instead of a full buffet, plus less food waste.I think they're making such a killing on these stupid family style pre-fixed menus they may never bring back the regular buffets.Makahiki used to be fabulous as a buffet now it just looks like any other overpriced menu.
I know it’s a Hawaiian delicacy but I can’t wrap my head around the whole pig on display thing. It’s so gross. Pass.At La Hiki? We go every year. So much delicious food. It's no more gross than a whole fish with the head served on a plate to me. (shrug) Being a Marylander, the only whole carcas served thing that doesn't totally gross me out is eating Maryland Blue Crabs!! LOL - which technically is a pretty gross thing when you think about how you tear into them. LOLI know it’s a Hawaiian delicacy but I can’t wrap my head around the whole pig on display thing. This irks me the most about Aulani. It amazes me they can get away with charging that much for that breakfast. And the photo with the character isn't even included. Yes, it’s right next doorIs the four seasons walking distance from Aulani?
Don’t they do the same thing at many luaus?I know it’s a Hawaiian delicacy but I can’t wrap my head around the whole pig on display thing. It’s so gross. Pass.
