Thanks for the sun...spring is finally here.

DH is taking the cover off the pool today so summer can't be far off.

As for snow...it really was just a freaky weather system going through. It was there first thing in the morning but melted as soon as the sun came out...it snow again later in the afternoon but melted as soon as it touched the ground...also I was pretty far north...around 300 miles north of Toronto.

D&D---what more do you want? We had hitting and name calling! This is a family forum after all! How much smacking can we get away with? I do not want to get kicked off like others have.

Okay! Okay...so I forgot about the smacking smileys. I don't remember much name calling though.

Watched AI last night and am afraid to see if Danny goes home or not. I'm hoping he at least goes on to the next round cause if he does, Friday is Danny Gokey day in Milwaukee. Which means we'll get some national attention for a little while. Between my son and myself we voted 100 TIMES last night in hopes of saving him.

We are camping in Zion National Park. It is supposed to be in the 80s next week. Just right.

Evening!!!

Been crazy here for a couple of days. DH was in a car accident yesterday. He's fine and so it the other person but it's still stressful. It was his company vehicle so that adds to it.

To keep my mind off it, I've decided to clean the living room completely. There are just piles of things that I have to go through. Everything just seems to accumulate so quickly. I did the toy corner, desk and printer stand today. Tomorrow I'm going to tackle this big glass and bamboo rack we have with stuff we don't want the kids to get.

DL55, I would love the 95 degree weather. I don't usually take that many shoes. I take 2 pairs of sneakers because I like to alternate them. A pair of crocs slides (not the clogs) for the pool, and I need to take the nicer pair of sandals I just bought since DH and I are going out to dinner one night alone. I only have one other pair of shoes besides those.

M&N, you know Jr is nothing but a loser!!!!! He should just quit racing and go sit in his bar. I heard the last time little Junebug won a race, Kyle Busch was really driving his car for him.

Hey Pikester...Well you see, bring retired, I was just soooo busy. Had to drive 5 miles to a friend's house so we could go out to lunch with another retired friend. We went to the John Wright warehouse. They actually make cast iron things but not much of that at the store. They have a little place beside the river to eat. It used to just have hot dogs, soft pretzels, and stuff like that. We could not sit outside but got a window seat. I had NE clam chowder, crab and cheese quiche and salad. For dessert, a little chocolate bundt cake. We were there 2 hrs. The store has really changed. They have Brighton jewlery, baggalini (?) bags, That's life (I think that's the name) t-shirts and Vera Bradley bags. I didn't buy any and that was hard! Then we went to York to 2 stores and then met another friend for supper at a place I had never been, The Tilted Kilt. It's a pub-like place. I had some strange named smoked turkey sandwich and onion rings. WHGRN, please don't tell me how many calories I had today. The important thing was we had a great day.

Don't you just hate it when someone messed up your lecture/yelling?

I'm still trying to figure out how to smack Racer back!

I'm with you too. I bring 2 pairs too...1 sneakers and 1 sandal. Oh...and flip flops for shower and beach. Gotta be careful in those campground showers.

And yes... Kyle should get more respect. He's doing very well. Especially when he gets me 100pts or more. DH even said he doesn't hate him as much as he used to. Take that as a good sign.

The weather here is rainy on and off right now but supposed to clear up for Thurs and Fri. Possibly in the 70s.
