Spending a cloudy cold day at work. What better place to be when its cloudy and cold?

Its Teacher Appreciation Week so we're getting a nice Mexican luncheon today at work. Sorta a Cinco de Mayo and Teacher Apprec. combined I guess. Whatever the case, I won't question a free lunch. Mmmm!

Nice to see M&N and Racetrack talkin' track smack. Although it is a little light on the smack and more track today.

Ev - Bummer on the snow this weekend. It should be all sandal weather by now.

Hi everybody!
It's getting warmer here. Have to get up earlier for my walks. I try to get most of it done before the sun comes up over the mountain. Still haven't put on the AC but the ceiling fan goes all night.
We are leaving Saturday for a week of camping. I haven't been very excited but it's growing on me.

Good afternoon all. Cold and rainy here. I am so glad that we didn't get snow like BKMETV did. Eve when does it finally all disappear? Pikester, her inlaws, her friends and myself are having a yard sale too. It will be on may 16th and maybe you folks can come over and find some great deals. M&N thanks for that big hello. We finally figured out which cruise that we are going on. It will be on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line ("Freedom of the Seas"). We will be sailing on Aug.2-thru 9th. I can't wait for summer weather. Bathing suit that's a scary thought. racetrack, I trying to get my head back and with this post we will see how it goes. I might need help.

Thought I would stop by and see what everyone has been up to but it seems that you all were to busy to spend alot of time here.

D&DDisney: It's Teacher Appreciation week here too! I've been subbing as a classroom aide since February(Will be there till the end of school) and yesterday the PTO gave small bouquets of carnations to all the staff. Today we got candies with a supportive message. Tomorrow we will be having a catered lunch. I don't remember what Thursday and Friday's plans are but I'm sure it will be great!

DL55: I'm not much of a camper but just hearing about being able to do something that is a "summer activity" makes me jealous!

racetrack18kb: Still following your Universal trip so I can get some ideas and information for when we take one.

M&N: I have 32 days left for Kinder and my DSs have 33 days left in their grades. I'll actually get one day to be by myself before they are home with me for the summer.

BKMETV: SNOW! Glad to hear you enjoyed your weekend.

Just an update on the story I posted here a couple of weeks ago. The guy who was being chased for having child porn and who was caught in California finally came back to my town and was arraigned yesterday. They added a new charge of Aggravated felonious sexual assault on a minor under the age of 16. That same victim is also listed as the same victim of one of the child pornography charges. The other victim of the child porn is under the age of 18. He is unable to have any contact with his wife, children or other immediate family members.

What in the heck was going on with this guy?

I'm in on Friday at my old school. I know we can wear jeans but don't think anything else special is happening. It's my school with 1 of each grade. I love the kids there. But I don't know the KDGers or 1st graders. I can't believe I've been out almost 2 years.

Rain is in our forecast until Sunday!

Did you hear me yell when Ty didn't get kicked off DWTS? I could not believe it. Lil Kim was better but I just think he's so cute...he just can't shake it! They had to do a solo in their dance last night and he went over to his wife and swayed his hips the best he can. He said the judges didn't like it but he could tell his wife did and it would pay off later.
I was watching that and missed end of Biggest Looser...need to check out the thread and see what I missed...

Sukie, I don't know what is going on with your Mickey. Did you try to delete the old link? See if copying and pasting the one currently in my account in your siggie and see if that works.

Pikester, that is some scary stuff. Things are getting bad around here lately. The police just made a drug bust and the dealers were a 65 and 70 year old ladies. They were caught with 10,000 worth of cocaine.

OH, and I'll take notes while on vacation. I did look at the menus for Universal. I am going to spend a fortune on food down there. Not because of prices but so many places look good. I'm having a hard time trying to decide where to eat. Thank goodness I didn't have to make ADRs.

I had gotten my long sleve tops out to be put in the other closet and had to get them out again with this damp weather. I did move some shoes around.

Someone was going in HersheyPark ahead of me on Sunday and they had a bottle of water. They could not take it in because it was opened. The cap's seal must not be opened. I had to wonder about that because I take in my refillable mug and could have something harmful in it.

That's weird. Isn't there places outside of the entrance to buy drinks? Maybe the candy shop? And isn't there a souvenir cart by the tram drop off? What if you buy the water while waiting to get in?

I only take 4 pairs of shoes with me including the ones I wear. Not a shoe person. Now DD13 would take every pair of shoes she owns if I let her. Oh, that reminds me, I need to find DH's sandals. Who knows what he did with them?

I think the guy said as long as it wasn't opened...I guess you need to chug it down if you just took a sip waiting in line!
I'll have to grab some brochures and send to those who want them. I was trying to look at the map to see what they added and where. They have more water things but it looked like they took away the one I liked that you got in a round boat and went along a river thing. You did get wet. It looks like they have more eating places around the boardwalk area.
I love to put those borders on. That's why I broke down and got the cd. I copied it but am NOT charging my friend anything for it! I cropped my head out of the one castle picture...
