The Nascar Cafe is one of the compromises I had to make with DH. He wasn't too convinced about going until he saw a pictures of the nachos from there. The plate looked big enough to feed 6 people and he wants it all to himself. I love Nascar but there are so many other places that look good too. But if a plate of nachos gets me to Universal, I guess I can suffer.

We are going to drive again. Airfare for 6 is always more expensive than driving no matter what kind of deal we get. Plus I like having our car just in case. I do like that we won't have to worry about buses either. Get up in the morning, get ready and eat breakfast, usually donuts or a muffin, on the walk to the park. How much easier could it get?

We've eaten at the NASCAR Cafe. Food was fine , got tired of the revving motor sounds. Not a very quiet cafe.

Pepper - I am truly so sorry to hear about your Dad. You and yours are in my thoughts and prayers. I always wish there was something else I could say here, but nothing ever seems appropriate. Just know you have us for a sounding board or anything else you can think of.

Whgrn - My Goodness!!! All I can say is, I hope this all gets better very soon. And, that dog should be much more sympathetic.

Racetrack - We went to Universal just for the day when DH and I went pre-kids. I'm trying to remember where we ate, I remember having fantastic crab nachos of some sort on City Walk... if I think of it, I'll let you know.

Everyone else, I spent most of lunch catching up, so no time to write. Hope everyone is taking a turn for the better.

Well today I slept until noon! Gotta love that Benadryl! The pain is quite tolerable, and i've been good about taking the Motrin. I spoke to the dentist a little bit ago and he wants me to try taking an antibiotic at 4:00 and see what happens. (I took a Benadryl at 2, so I have to wait a bit to try the other) I kind of hope the antibiotic is ok, becuase there are so very few I can take. BUT if it wasn't the antibiotic, then it was in the IV sedation, which could be an issue with my future surgeries, oral and otherwise. *sigh*

I've been eating all sorts of yummy things that I dont' normally eat. Ice cream (the low fat stuff we made last night--it's so yummy and feels SO good in my mouth!), chocolate pudding (really a rare treat!), soft noodles, yogurt. I had some cottage cheese this am but the curds in it bothered me so I'll have to wait to try that again.

I felt like I needed to DO something today, so I emptied and reloaded the dishwasher, which is DD's job. At least I felt productive!

I gotta show you all what God left me this evening... right outside my kitchen window! It was even prettier than the picture!

Good evening all. I hate winter It is soooooooooooooo looooooong. I am still coughing and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I guess I will have to have another night cap before I go to bed. Can you say "NyQuil", that stuff usually is so good and after a couple of days I start to feel better. I hope maybe I will get to rest this weekend.

When we were at disney in December, Pikester and myself had our picture taken with both of them. "Chip" has a black nose like a "chocolate chip". I over heard someone telling their daughter that. I always remember that "Dale" has a red nose because my brother Dale has redish hair.

I think the drain is trying to come out on it's own. It feels weird. Glad I'm going in tomorrow.

I took a Clindamycin at 4:10 and had no allergic reaction. So I will take one tonite as well. The pain is still not too bad, so hopefully a couple of Motrin at bedtime will do the trick for the night.

I think I am going crazy . Did I answer this already? I guess I shouldn't have had that night cap. Maybe that's why so many of us are sick. The dreaded "computer virus". I am going to go ahead and submit this post. I hope that the "tag fairy" doesn't see this.

I'm doing fine. Trying to figure out the weather. Mom's lunch at Hotel Hershey is Sat and they are calling for snow. Where the line between snow and freezing rain is will be the big question. I have Mom (78) and another lady who is 87 so I do not want bad weather--they could slip as easily as anything. How's it in your neck of the woods?

Did your gas go up over the weekend? You are right about stress. We try and use less gas and are punished with more tax on gas. The electric was only $5 more this month. That's supposed to start going up too. I'm beginning to sound like an old lady!
