Yes, sorry. ABC Family is showing a marathon of the Rankin/Bass shows. But Its a Wonderful Life is on NBC tonight. And PBS is showing some wonderful choir programming tonight also.

Oh, the potatoes. I'm still on the fence about toppings right now. I do have cheese, no chili in the house though. I do occasionally put ranch dressing on them. Of course, there is the traditional sour cream. Yum. I can't wait.

There are candy cane Hershey Kisses? Are they crunchy? Or just minty flavoured? I must have missed those. I have the cherry cordial, the mint, and the almond. I have a Hershey Kiss Christmas tree tower and I have to replenish the "ornaments"!

YEP!!! The have teeny tiny little bits of candy cane in them. They are new this year. It is like peppermint bark but in a Hershey kiss.

How did I miss those Kisses? Uh-oh. I have a mission now for the 26th. I have to take my sister to the bus station at 3:45am anyway, so maybe I'll just mosey on over to the 24 hour Walmart and see if they have any of those Kisses left. Yummy. I love Peppermint bark too.

The Kisses are white chocolate with red stripes. Little bits of candy cane in them for just a little crunch - but not too much. Yumm!

Yeah to the Christmas parade tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be on while we're at church.

I think ABC is going to show Rudolph's New Year next week. I'll check again.

We attend the 9am services, so we should be back in time to watch the entire parade. I usually go to the early service, but for most people who don't go to Midnight Mass, they usually attend the later ones. I'm not going to risk the roads tonight to go to Midnight Mass, although I think its just breathtakingly beautiful.

Thanks for the info D&D! I get to watch it twice. Yeah. I actually got to watch Nestor the other weekend and made my BF watch it with me. He even held my hand while I cried about everyone being so mean to Nestor. But I think he was rolling his eyes at the same time!

Just got in from shoveling MORE SNOW. It just doesn't stop.
The only good part of this is I can eat all the Christmas goodies I want cause I'm buring calories shoveling snow every day.

We're still tracking Santa and the kids are having a blast. My DS6 just decided to leave a letter for Santa asking if he will take him and his brother along in his sleigh tonight.

We just got back from a Christmas party and one of the other guests came and told me that DS7 told them that he was going to leave a beer out for Santa so he would get drunk and pass out at our house and then he could finally see him.

I really feel for all of you getting this lousy weather. It's just raining here, it was 54 degrees when I went to church at 4:45! Not much cooler now.

Speaking of hershey kisses, have you tried the candy cane ones??? OMG!!!! Beyond good.

DEADLY good! But my favorites will always be the traditional milk chocolate Kisses. I eat one every night before bed! (REALLY!!)

Well, Santa is now the Azpores, whatever that is. When I came in from church he was in Scotland--SO appropriate since I'm decked out in my kilt and sash!

Church was lovely. We sang traditional carols, I did a solo of 'Mary Did You Know', and then of course we sang 'O Holy Night' and 'Silent Night', by candlelight (actually little battery operated tea lights--safety first!) Now I'm just hanging out waiting for the kids to get home in about an hour.

Everyone get to bed early tonite (Racetrack, this means YOU!!) or Santa won't come bring presents to you (or your kids...)

It's been busy here. I only have the kids presents to wrap yet. whgrn, me, go to bed early? You are kidding, right? I'll be lucky if I get to bed before 1am. It's kind of a Christmas tradition with DH and I to stay up late with last minute preparations on Christmas Eve.
