Wel my goodness! Step away from the computer for a few hours and all heck breaks loose! A new thread, a new member, and PAGE 3!!!! WOW!

I kill threads I want to say hi to you all but have been afraid for a while to do so and kill your thread!!!!!!! This one is brand new, and if it dies it won't be toooooo tragic, so I am going to jump in and say HI!!!!

You can't kill us, we're indestructable!!

Does anyone have any great plans for Christmas Eve? I have no clue what to do, but I am sick of going to the mall. I find myself eating everytime I go there.

Oh, I have big exciting plans! Go to the gym in the AM, come home and shower, pick up the ice cream cake for Christmas lunch, relax at home for a few, go to church, come home and reheat something for dinner, and wait for the kids to get home and to sleep so I can put everything under the tree and go to bed myself! Oh yeah, and track Santa through the whole day. My kids LOVE doing that every year! http://www.noradsanta.org

I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve! It just doesn't seem real to me yet.

whgrn, you just made me tired reading all that. We'll be tracking Santa too. One of our local radio stations also does a little bit on the radio when Santa arrives in the area. That sure does make the little ones go to bed quickly.

Checking in. Howdy everybody! Love the feel of the new place! Heck, I left home for a little while and came back to a new thread with 4 pages already. If we're not careful around here people will think the TKers are livin down their past!

Wow! DisneyLily, 300 posts! That's some serious posting. I am still in a funk from coming back from our trip. I am lucky to get in about 5 posts in a day.

whgrn, I was gonna respond back to on the last thread about math problems but.... we got moved! Anyway, I would gladly trade you to be only coaching my DS through math struggles! Today my precious son got a "dear John" letter. How in the heck are you supposed to get them through that? I know I have been through heartbreak myself and so does most everyone else but it really sucks watching your son be so hurt. I know the only thing that makes it better is time (or maybe a new girl) but that won't make him feel much better right now. I keep thinking of the Garth Brooks song "Unanswered Prayers" which is such a wise song and been so true about many things in my life. Guess I will pass the song along to him and tell him it will make so much more sense someday when he finds the right girl.

I got 2 presents wrapped today! Tomorrow I am going to wrap all day long!

Happy Christmas everyone! I know most people consider Christmas day the holiday, but its Christmas eve day and why not start the goodwill and holiday cheer as early as possible?

We're presently being pounded by sleet and freezing rain at the moment. Its supposed to turn over to rain later today. I hope so...I have to run to the grocery store for emergency supplies for my sister's arrival! She has requested my special ribs and baked potatoes combo and chocolate cake.

The Mods have already closed our last thread. I'm kinda sad about it.

Oh, Marie, I'm so sorry for your DS' hearbreak. And such timing! Its true, it hurts, but it wil hurt a little less each day and one day it will be a distant memory. Special pixie-dust to you and your family. Enjoy the holiday!

M&N...do you have pictures of your gingerman tree? It sounds so cute!

Well, i'm on Christmas Vacation and have nothing to do. When did you come back from your trip? I hope you had fun.

I'm not sure if anyone else got the weather storm we did last night, but apparently it took my father 50 minutes to shovel the driveway, and we have a small driveway compared to others.

Yes, I know heartbreak gets better. I also have always thought that if the person who rejects you didn't return your feelings they must have not been the one right for you. The good Lord is saving my DS someone even better! I am so glad I am an old married woman and don't have to go through that again!

My sister's princessglad to hear that you breakup turned out to be a good thing. Sometimes we just don't know at the time that something better is waiting just around the corner. It took me several tries to get it right!

We were at Disneyland November 10-23. My body is back but my brain is still somewhere else! Gotta get back to working on my trip report!

Thanks for the well wishes to my son. I can't be too mad at the girl really because she is very sweet. Unfortunately, she just doesn't feel the same for him and wants him to be able to move on. I asked one of the moms at Jiu-Jitsu last night if she had any young ladies to fix him up with and she said no, that she didn't know anybody good enough. He is a great guy and someday his princess will come!

I'm sending some warm wishes to all of you who are still getting even more snow! On the bright side... you get to have a white Christmas!
