Ah, Pepper, I must be being punished for something. A month, the month of DECEMBER no less, in Upstate NY without 4-wheel drive! I'm still waiting on a part too. Could it have something to do with the rescue plan that's been on the news all day? Maybe there just weren't parts to be had! Any news on your ETA?

Dinner here is broccoli, mashed sweet potatoes and a little steak with cracked pepper crust. Yummy.

Racetrack - I hear you about the kids going back. Mine aren't too bad today. Youngest had a friend over for a while. They played video games and then ran around the house shooting each other with lazer guns. I think I saw a storm trooper come through too.
You're moving to DISNEY???? Should I cancel our plans to camp in PA this summer? We really haven't made plans yet, but PA did come up as an option.

Kitty - Fingers crossed that you get your back on Friday. Its sure taking a long time. Your dinner sounds soooo yummy!!!!

D&DDisney, we are not moving until after September at the earliest. You make it up here over the summer and we'll definitely have to get together.

pepper, we have some family down there already so it will make it easier. And since we will be where it warm during the winter, at least compared to here, there shouldn't be a problem getting them all to visit. Winter in PA or winter in FL...not a hard choice to me.

I agree about the smilie guy. He does look sad. But then I can't figure why we have half the smilies we do. I think it's time for some new ones.

Hello Ladies!

We had broccoli, mashed potatoes(not whipped) seasoned with lemon pepper and garlic salt and boneless pork chops cooked in the crock pot with a mixture of chicken broth/onion soup mix. The pork chops were a new recipe and very tender (cut them with a fork) but I think I cooked them a little longer then I should as they were a little dry. It said to cook them 6 to 8hrs; I went with 6hrs. I forgot that my crockpot cooks hotter then it should confused3 ) so I think 5hrs would have done it.

You make whipped potatoes. They involve a mixer. If you mash them with a masher, they are mashed potatoes. The difference? LUMPS!! I like some lumps in my mashed potatoes.
