Four Brits hit the world the TR! ***Finished***

The Duncan Hines box said "European Chocolate" so it must be good!:snooty:
:rotfl2:
Well, I for one ALWAYS have a perfect Disney vacation--the weather is perfect, lines are short, ADRs are on time, kids are smiling, everyone is healthy, kids wake up on time, buses are early............:rotfl2: ;)

(I could go on and on--y'all add some more from your perfect trip!!)
:rotfl:

don't forget being first in line for all characters and how you always seem to have the bus to yourself.:lmao:

Man this is the second time this week I have quoted the wrong thing. I forget when you quote you do not get what was being quoted by the first quote. That makes sense right?

well my biological mother is divorced from her husband but he is not my father. i was the result of a 1 year separation from him. My adopted parents were together till they died.
Ok just wanted to put in my 2 cents.

Hi sweetie! I'm just catching up on your AK day and it's only about 3:15am here so I'm not awake enough to multi-quote!

It looks like you all had a great day - despite the heat...

You had me there for a second with the missing Simba in the picture! Great job on that DM!!!:thumbsup2

Ok, time for another cup of coffee!!!

Okay...I guess I'll chime in here. My parents are still happily married and almost to the point where it's a little gross at times. But good for them! ;)

Ok.........it's time to call in an expert for this thread!

(and not to be outdone...my real dad left when I was 2 and moved out of state to avoid child support....then moved back when I turned 18. Mom says it was at least better than being close and aggravating her all the time. She was remarried to my step dad when I was 7 so worked out ok.)

And she loves Dr. Phil!

i was just over on zigg zagg zerr's TR and saw her pic of you and realized......i haven't read anything about jo's trip yet.......:scared1: so now i'm here and ready to go! i have a lot of catching up to do. sorry i'm late! :guilty:

Me too DM. My parents are celbrating their 50th Anniversary on October 5th:thumbsup2

Finally a shout out to all my lurkers, please come and say Hi, I'd love to know you're reading :wave2:

OK, since you asked so nicely! I'm a huge Anglophile. Besides visits on my own over the years, we've done house exchanges to England twice for 3 weeks each time, in 2003 and 2005, and had a great time. We love your "adventure playgrounds" and all the free museums. We don't have either of those over here, really. Unfortunately the dollar is so weak at present that I'm not sure when we'll get back. Anyway, that is all to say that I was attracted to your title & it's fun reading, especially since your daughters are similar in age to mine.

Ouch! My Mom hates my Dad (nearly 30 years later) but me and my sis think he still loves her which is SO annoying and grosses us out :crazy2: She's on #3 who we all hate :worried: :furious: :( Anyhoo your girls have your smile!
I'm sure Mum still loves my Dad too otherwise why would she be so bitter! And thanks about the smile :)

OMG...I am in shock! How sad is that, for you to have to deal with that! You poor thing!

Jo, we all have breakdowns sometimes. I really think that it is hard for is over planners to go to WDW, with such expectations...sometimes our feelings just get all ferclempt! Been there. I bet many of us have been there, in fact! Your dreamy trip is going went so well. I am very happy for you and can't wait to read all about the rest!
Thanks Jen

Oops! That must be stressful for you having to keep both sides happy. Has your mom remarried?

Mmmm.....I'm making brownies (no nuts)--can you smell the chocolate? The Duncan Hines box said "European Chocolate" so it must be good!:snooty:
Nope not remarried but been with SO for over 12 years!!!! So what type of chocolate is it? I love cadburys and Lindt :cloud9:

:rotfl2: Ouch on the suncream allergy!

My parents are divorced as well. My dad is fine with my mom, he is just uncomfortable being around her as she has a chip on her shoulder (rightly so) and gets rather pissy whenever he is around. It is awful because she gets into really bad moods whenever we have plans to visit him or when he comes down to see us.
It's so sad isn't it!

Sorry it is like that for you.
It's not too bad now, I'm learning not to listen :rotfl2:

Hey Jo How about Black Magic or Cadbury's Roses Now that's goooood chocolate!! I guess my DD could chime in about the divorced parents but I'm not nasty or rude to him She is!! She really found out who was the caring parent after the divorce and doesn't hesitate to tell anyone who'll listen.
