Fountains Resort Question

Hello. We're booked at the Fountains for our upcoming trip and I was wondering what the very best (and preferably quickest) way to Disney property was from there. I have done Mapquest...one shows the interstate as being the best..the other shows local roadways. From someone who has been there, which is the best??? Thanks!!!!

We stayed at The Fountains in January 2006. We found the local roads as the quickest and best way to get there. Once you leave the resort and make a right their are road signs leading you all the way to Disney.

Thanks so much for the info! About how long does it take to get to the MK from there?? That is where we spend most of our time. We usually leave "home" around 7:45am in order to get there at least 45 minutes before opening. Can we still do that staying here...or should we leave earlier?

We were there MLK week and did both ways. I thought the interstate was faster, there were a lot of people waiting to turn left on the local road and we always had to wait a few lights.

Thanks! I suppose we will just have to do the same thing...try it both ways!
Hopefully the traffic won't be so bad when we go...
