Found T-Rex disappointing...

Tried T-Rex last month for the first time and found it very disappointing. We've been to Rainforest tons of times at several different locations. I expected T-Rex to really be neat bc it is so new, but it was a let down. It seemed as though they did only what they thought they had to do, leading to underwhelming decor. I was especially excited to see the Dino Build-A-Bear but the dinos looked rather cheap and plain. The whole experience was not worth a repeat.

The experience was even worse due to people continually walking past the hostess desk to come in and take pictures. People are trying to eat with people walking by, stopping in front of the table to take pictures. Really?

OP- sorry to hear you had a negative experience. We had the opposite.

We requested to sit in the Ice Cave and it was great! We actually had one of the best dining experiences there during our trip this past May. Had a nice corner booth and didn't have all that craziness with people constantly coming by the table for pix ect... The entire room changed color every 10-15 or so, very cool effect. Still had views of the rest of the restaurant, including meteor shower in the next room, but not overwhelming. On top of enjoying our surroundings, the food was really good as well. We'll definitely go back next trip.

We actually like the decor but found the food to be less than mediocre. We are skipping it next trip.

Yep. We found the food to be "meh" but ambiance is nice. I don't think we will be returning anytime soon.

It was a one time experience for us. The dinosaurs & effects were cool (especially for DS(8) ), but the food was blah (as expected). Glad we did it. Equally glad we don't need to do it again.

We went 2 years ago and really enjoyed the ice cave. Food wasn't bad, coctails were good. I'll go again this time around.
