I got a quote from Paramount for the fun in the sun ticket

adult $310
Child $250

which is great value, but.....

I stumbled across this site quoting

adult $299
child $248

incl tax.

I know some of you have used Paramount with no problems. Anyone know of this company, and is the extra discount worth the risk do you think??

Thanks for the link, I'm interested in buying this ticket for October.

Never heard any reports of this company but only heard good things about Paramount so unless you got recommendations from someone I would go with Paramount IMHO, especially as the childrens tickets are almost the same price.

They don't appear to have checked the dates on their website

quote - For arrivals May 1, 2003-March 31, 2003

- presumably they mean March 31, 2004, (or do they mean May 1, 2002.)

May be silly, but little details like that matter to me

i also called disney and they said yes you can use the fun in the sun ticket.i also heard that paramount is selling the ticket.been looking around about the company want to by the tickets to as we are going for 14 daysmaybe even longer.but dont know if i should by the ticket.they told the ticket is good until may 2004.now that im reading differnt times i dont know if i want to by it now.so if you can help me any info i would sure love it.thanks

I bought our fun in the suns a few weeks ago, and they arrived a few days later. Very good service from paramount.

They are valid until May 2004 and the 30 days runs from date of first use, and IMO are a great deal.

I looked at the site above as I am toying with the idea of buying the FITS tickets. It says the adult ticket is $350 including tax,not $299:rolleyes: ?? Perhaps they have raised the price:mad:

Karen,

You may be better to e-mail Rosa at Paramount, and she will give you the up to minute info. She was really helpful and very quick to respond to all my questions.

She is at rosa@pit-email.com

Cheers

Craig

Harry,

It's a special ticket available to overseas visitors which gives 30 days unlimited access to all the WDW Parks and waterparks, and some other minor attractions (including the space centre).

I think it also includes a free character breakfast per ticket.

They are valid until May 2004, and the 30 day period starts on first day of use.

Not sure of latest prices as I bought mine a few weeks ago, but Rosa can help (e-mail address above)

Cheers

Craig

Thanks Craig.
This sounds like a good ticket to get.
I am intending to do all the parks, Kennedy and a character breakfast .
I was going to get a hopper plus just in case we went to the water parks, depending on the weather( Jan) but I don't think I will be wasting any money this way.
I take it from what I am reading, that Paramount is a more trusted firm to deal with ?
thanks again
LIN:p

ok i talked to rosa.w hai i want to know should i buy the tticket now as we are going in dec.and would like to get everthing before i go.or should i wait a bit longer.as i read on this message board rosa told somebody that the ticket might stop soon.what im scared is if they go out of bussines is the ticket still good.or im i out of luck.im spending about $1200 for tickets.and i bought something befor like a trip and they end up closing the doors and i got nothing for what i payed for.so $1200 is a lot of money to end up not getting nothing.what do you guys think i should do?i real like the price and i what to be able to go to all the places and it is in my budget with this ticket.

If I had bought the FITS ticket when I decided I would the exchange rate was $1.60.It would then be only a couple of pounds more than the 10 day ticket that Virgin Travel Store is selling at only £189 (adult price) at the moment, and would include Kennedy space centre.

Becuase I've dithered the rate has dropped so sharply it isn't worth me paying the extra just for KSC.I am only in Orlando for 12 days and the 10 ticket more than covers me.I think the FITS ticket would be very good value if you are on a two/three week holiday.

I went through a 'pretend' buy of the 10 day ticket today on Virgin Travelstore and when I saw no credit card charges and that I would earn 1,500 Virgin airmiles I ended up buying them!:p

I have also missed a really good deal on buying two Universal annual passes for $250.This would have made each annual pass approximately £85:( .I know you can still buy an annual Universal power pass @ $99 ,but it doesn't have the discounts I could have made great use of.
