It looks clean in the pics and has a pool. A pond with fish in it. Looks like a great value. wifi and kids pool. Its just an older hotel probably built in the 80's.

As stated above, check out Tripadvisor reviews to see what people have thought. Also check out the bed bug registry sites to see if there has been any recent problems. I've stayed in Kissimmee a lot and find at that price, the place is either a dive with paper thin walls or it's quite a drive from the parks. So you spend a lot on gas and sitting in traffic wishing you were having fun.

If you look on Tripadvisor under Vacation rentals, you can input your search criteria (price, size, location) and you might find something awesome at a great price. I booked an entire condo in west Kissimmee for $70 per night. It was 2 bedroom, complete kitchen and a short walk to the big pool. Where ever you choose, make sure you check the hotel room yourself (without baggage) for foul smells and bed bugs.

$31 a night is where workers stay while they're on temp jobs. They grind their cigarettes out in the carpet.

You can find cheap hotels in every city, so I am not sure how interesting it is. I personally wouldn't even consider it let alone would I base my standard of cleaning on pictures.

1. You should find out if they are resort fees or other fees. That is one technique that hotels use to seem they have a lower rate.

2. Hotels that offer such low rates often cut corners to be able to offer such rates or are in a very undesirable part of town.

We have stayed in super cheap rooms in Kissimmee with great success. But I trip advisor them to death, call and ask question etc. Which hotel did you find?

We decided to go in a night early at the last minute one trip, and I wanted a cheap hotel for just sleeping. We stayed at one about this price. Cleanliness, location, etc. were fine, the pool was nice, and I think there was a continental breakfast. However, I wouldn't have stayed any longer than one night because of the electrical issues - DD still talks about the sparks from the TV (which they did switch out for us...).

I looked it up its a dump and has a resort fee. Bugs too.
What cheap places have you stayed that were a success?
I stayed on international drive at a best western it was $42 I think in 2000 and was clean and a great value.

I used Priceline and got the Ritz Carlton for $28 a night. Problem is I drank the 2 bottles of water in the room and used the robe overnight and had a $74 charge when I departed.
Learned my lesson, I now stay at Pop Century for the same price, plus parking at Disney is free. :)

If you can stay a week at a time, your best bet is SkyAuction. $250/wk for a 2-4 bedroom condo. All taxes and fees included. $35 per night.

I needed a cheaper room for a 1 night stay. I am staying at Days Inn over by walmart off 535 I believe it is.

Is t the golden link? We stayed there when my sisters and I went down as teens. We had a blast and it was always clean and cheap!

Cheapest place I have stayed was Champion World Resort. I also got a military discount on top of their low rates. Advertised rack rate for tonight is $55 a night. I wouldn't say in a $30 a night hotel. Just my opinion, especially with a family and kids. I see those like the other person mentioned traveling workers, bikers traveling in a group, etc.

I know moms who know how to input requests into priceline and hotwire to get decent hotels near the Silver Spurs Arena (Super8, Motel6, Days Inn).

Price?
Is it nice?

This is a discussion board why would I google the hotel and get the hotels description on it when this person has real life knowledge about the place.
