I want to buy FOTL/Express passes, for our whole group, but my Grandmother 80 something isn't going to ride everything. Can I use hers to go twice on the rides she doesn't want to (Hulk, etc). I know they are only good for the day, are once per ride and found out it would be 37.28 for the day we will be there. I was also told they don't work for the first hour.

They don't scan the cards, in fact, they hardly even look at them when we were there last week. We rode some of the rides several times using the Express Plus pass.

I just don't understand why anyone would buy them when you can get them out of the machines for free, or use the extra $$ to stay onsite so it is free.
I might be mistaken but I thought the ones you buy were 1 per ride.

People buy them because during peak periods the machines run out of free ones quite often, Also, you can go on the ride when ever you want with the plus pass. I agree that staying on site is the absolute best option.

Staying on site is what we have always done, but it is 275 for the cheapest per night over Spring Break and I'm not willing to pay that.

Easy, we stayed in a fantastic 2 bdrm condo for 70.00 a night. we also did DW and Busch and did not want to waste our vacation hotel hopping. The extra 45.00 it cost us to buy it (only on our last day when we wanted to make sure we did everything once more) was still way cheaper than staying onsite and we still got FOTL. We find fast passes very constricting but we do use them as well. Yes, they are suppose to be for 1 per ride but they don't police this at all.
