How bad are the lines for IOA during the week? Am I going to hate not having FOTL? We are going the first week of October and staying at the BCV at WDW.

Thanks!

We were just there and not having it wasn't a big deal. It wasn't at all needed in the mornings so just do the bigger attractions then and the shows and smaller ones in the afternoon. You can also fast pass and the time you are going shouldn't be that busy.

In early October, mid-week, it won't be a huge advantage. You can attack the "biggies" in the AM and enjoy the less-traveled attractions later. You'll still be able to pull Express passes from the machines throughout the day. The one nice thing about having all-day access is that you can jump on the Mummy or Spider-man on a whim and only wait 10 minutes.

But, if you go during Spring Break or the summer, you'll be very thankful that you stayed on-site.

yeah it is really nice on weekdays.....u can usually get on eachreally good ride in about 10-20 minutes depending on the season, but there have been times say like last week on wednesday when the mummy had a 25 minute wait
anyway i wouldn't worry u should just get an express pass for the mummy(u know by using ur ticket) Oh and if u guys are doing jurassic park it never and i mean NEVER has a long wait...not because its a bad ride its really good it just unloads a lot of people at a time and they can have around 5 to 6 cars running at the same time:teeth:

Thank you all for the responses. It was just what I was hoping to hear! I know very little about Universal since I've only been to US twice and that was 6 years ago. I guess I've been too devoted to WDW and I'm trying to branch out...I know DH would adore IOA.

So US/IOA both have a fast pass system? Is it similar to WDWs? Thanks again!!!

Yes, it's the same. You feed your ticket in and get the fastpass, and wait for your ride time on, say, Hulk, while you ride something else.

During the week I would say its not all that necessary. We have been twice in Sept and once the beginning of Oct and many times there was no line anyway. But when push comes to shove its a great thing to have. We really enjoy the Universal resorts anyway so its just an extra perk for us.
Plus if you go and the park is crowded that day you can buy an express pass booklet or get one from the machines--like fastpass.
