I just booked HRH for 10/30. Is FOTL used during HHN?

fotl is not honored for the hard ticket event HHN.........

i know, i feel the same way.

4/5 years ago i found out the hard way.

In that case, since HRH is $314 AAA and the Holiday Inn is $79.50 w/ entertainment for a suite, I guess I'll stay 1/2 mi away. We are only going 1 night and only for the night.

Oh well....... Guess I"ll spend the savings on an express book for everyone.

thanks

You can get a special FOTL pass when you order your tickets. They sell out fast & it is REALLY worth the extra $$$ (I am remembering $15). WE missed out last year because we were in a hurry to get to the parks the first day ...and boy were we sorry!

Yeah, that's the better idea for HHN, because the parks are very quiet in the day time. I'm staying at the Best Western across the street and walking over for HHN.

i order the express pass for hhn for all three nights when i ordered my tickets for it.
none of them were $15 for a night.
can you tell us what type of deal you are talking about when you said they were that cheap?

i received a deal for the hhn as an add on and a discount for the express, but none were $15.
cheapest one was 20.20 for one of the nights.

I think they're just mixing you up.
When you stay at an onsite hotel, your hotel key gets you FOTL at the parks.
If you are not staying onsite, you can buy a booklet of express passes, and during off peak times, these booklets can sell for as little as $15. During peak times, they sell for more. The booklet has one express pass for each ride. The FOTL everyone knows about does not work for HHN, it's a special event.

But, they sell a book of express passes for HHN, that will get you into the houses without waiting in the long lines.

So when someone mentions an express booklet, you have to figure out if they're talking about one for the parks during the day for those not staying onsite, or one for HHN at night.

I just ordered the HHN Express books - they are priced $25, $35 and $45. We are going on 10/30 which will be $25 each. Worth it, especially since I'll be saving by staying off site. We just aren't going to have time to really do the parks during the day, just going for the 1 night's events.

I'm going to HHN on 10/27 and 10/30 with express passes in hand.
We are staying Wed - Mon, but decided that the weekends were going to be just too crazy. We are renting a cabana for Fri dive in night, and Sat we can find something else to do.
Goldcupmom--I would stay off site if your only going 1 night and good move on the express pass. Be thankful we have for "week nights" so it's the least expensive you can get. I'm traveling from CT and could not justify spending $60 on a ticket for a Fri or Sat night, then paying $35/$45 on express. At least I get two nights for the price of one. I have not been to HHN, and I hope the week nights have the same shows and all as the weekends.

I usually feel that if I have spent so much (club room at HRH), then why go cheap with the rest of the trip. It really was posts that I have read that said Fri/Sat were insane. I would rather enjoy my time in the park at night than be pissy that so many people are crowding me. :rotfl:
