Forum "jump" ability gone?

I think "jump" is what you call it. It used to be that if I was on the Restaurant Board and after reading that, I wanted to go to the Adults and solo Travelers board, I clicked the arrow in the upper or lower right, selected the board I wanted to go to, and I was there. Now it seems I have to go back to forums first. For example, just now I was at DVC resorts. To get to the Technical support board, I had to click "Forums", then scroll down to Technical support and click that. Am I missing something?

I haven't found ability to "jump" - but admittedly I rarely used that. If I come across it I'll post again.

I also miss the ability to go directly to another forum with out having to go through the main forum page.

I don't like the fact that you can't see how many posts someone has now, unless you hover over their username.

Ugh, and now it seems I can only go to the next “level” of forum listings - like from a sub-forum only back to the main forum before getting back to the full listing.

Hopefully they'll add the entire subtree back as well as the page migration to the top again. It's probably at the default settings now and those options will be tweaked in time. Nagging here will be useful

Additionally, after reading the last new post in a thread, it used to be that shortly thereafter you had the subtree following the post reply section. Convenient for quickly moving through unread posts.

Now you have to scroll past:

- share
- connect
- share this page
- Disney news and updates
- latest media

before you’re able to click on the parent thread (on this page, “Technical Suport”). It’s inconvenient.

Hopefully some of these options will get reactivated. The board seems to be at the default settings currently. But for now, the important thing is that the migration seems to have been completed successfully. The bells and whistles can be tweaked in due course.

I *always* use it. I need it. Clicking back back back then clicking to get somewhere new is the old way of doing things. That drop down menu was awesome.

“Jump” to another forum is an option with Xenforo 2. As the board gets tweaked, hopefully it will be added on for those who need it.
