I am trying to put together our schedule for our trip. I want my daughter to ride a horse and look around fort wilderness. We will be staying at Wilderness lodge. How long do you think it would take to look around the resort and ride a pony? I wondering if that could be our last day activity before we head to the airport for a late flight. Thanks for your help.

The pony ride is the easiest. The Fort Wilderness-Wilderness Lodge (yellow bus) drops you off right next to the stable. The rest of your timing depends on what you want to do at the Fort.
Might want to post your question on the camping forum for more answers.

I didn’t realize there was a camping forum. I was just thinking really looking at the shops they have for merch and maybe eating at their restaurant for lunch.

Well, there's two "trading posts". One, the Settlement trading post you'll be close to when you're done with the pony rides. Across from the Hoop D Doo review. That's also where the restaurant and carty out are. Check out the beach and boat docks there then hop on an internal bus and head to the Meadows trading post. That's also where the pool is and bike barn. A lot of activities are out of the Meadows area.

Thank you so much for all the information! I really appreciate it 💜
