Fort Wilderness Sleigh Rides

We're considering booking a sleigh ride at Fort Wilderness for our December trip. I'm curious to know what others who have done this before thought and where exactly the ride goes. I think we'd be more interested if it was through wooded areas mostly rather than just through the campsites, so I want to have the right expectations before we book. Please share your experiences and let me know your thoughts!

Also, do you think we'd have enough time to do this at 5:30 if we have a 7:15 ADR at Narcoossee's at the GF?

We're doing Trail's End on Christmas Eve at 6PM and are interested in this also. Does anyone know how long of time it is?

we did this last year in december , nice quiet ride ( that is unless u get a talkative driver that goes above and beyond the regular tour info speech) but was open to answering any questions we had about the campground , we were taken through out the campground loops amazing how many people really go all out with decorations ride lasts about 25 minutes , and we got a pin at end . price was around 75.oo for two of us think the dis has more info here for this year

Does everyone get a pin? Did you see lots of the lights? Worth the money?

For the money, I think it's better to just rent a golf cart and drive around yourself. I have watched the sleigh rides and they usually go along the main road and go through 2 or 3 loops.

There really aren't many "wooded" areas, unless you take the back road from the cabins to the Settlement, which is just an empty area where groups camp. Every other road goes past camping or cabin loops.

The campers go all out decorating, it's fantastic. Fort Wilderness is by far the most Christmas-y feeling resort on property.

It is a great way to see some of the awesome decorations, a lot of the campers go all out!

We enjoyed it!! Our driver was great and helped us take picture after picture with his lovely horse when it was over Loved seeing all the campers in the Christmas spirit!! We weren't as lucky as the PP and didn't get any pins! Have fun!
