Fort Wilderness Newbie Question

Hi,
I just booked 5 nights in May 2009. When I made the reservation all they asked was the size of my camper (30 ft 5th wheel) and if I have slide outs. Should I have requested a loop at that time? They didn't ask my preference on pet loops and I would prefer to not be on a pet loop. Will I know what loop I am getting prior to arriving?

You can request a loop but they are not promised. I would have them put your request on your reservation and then about a week before your trip call or fax your request again.

If you are going during a holiday, chances are you are less likely to be accommodated, but they do their best.

So when I see threads that people have a specific loop, it is just what they requested. . .not what they will be guaranteed???

Yes! They were able to give me my loop a couple days before we arrived. Not a site number, just the loop.
