love that feeling, after a long drive ,seeing the signs of Disney as well as the exits off the freeway

Enjoyed the pre-trip and now sitting back and following the trip! Glad you are there safely. Love the Disney signs.

Spend the day driving and setting up camp. After arriving we hopped a bus to downtown Disney. Stopped at hole in the wall for a pint of Guinness.

I agree there is nothing like pulling through those gates, with your 19, 17, ,16 year old boys all gathered right behind the drivers seat almost as excited as the toddlers and mom and dad. It is a true " Disney moment"

Actually funny you should mention that. It was actually a UFO. We would have arrived much sooner of the probing hadn't taken so darn much time. Oh wait maybe that was just what it felt like when I filled up the gas tank.

Glad to see you and your family arrived and are settling in. Yeah, the sight off the WDW gate and pulling up to the outpost after that long drive are great rewards. Your setup looks really nice! By the way, where are you setup? Enjoy your time there!

We started out at Magic kingdom today, We hit the people mover, which I was thrilled is not yet in refurb. A couple other rides as well. Overall I was impressed I did not think the crowds were to bad for a Saturday. It almost seemed as busy or even less than when we were here in Feb 2013. We ended up getting hungry in the afternoon and decided Magic Kingdom just wasn't going to cut it, so we all headed to Epcot Mexican pavilion for margaritas and food.

The kids all took on Gaston at MK, I can't believe how funny he was. He really embodied the full of himself attitude form the movie. Then the boys tried to hand the girls back their autograph books he exclaimed " What are you doing? You don't give books to girls! They will learn to read and start getting ideas and things"

First to get prepared they road the teacups.

Then they challenged Gaston

We met a famous sailor at epcot

then bellied up to club cool

All in all an awesome day at Disney!! We noticed at Magic Kingdom the mine ride is running for VIP guests, we all felt very important but they still wouldn't let us on. No matter, we have fast passes for opening day.

I could (and did) ride the PeopleMover over and over (on the last trip). It's been a favorite of DS#2 since he was a baby because it moves, it's shaded, he could drink his baby bottle (he's 19 now), and there was always something new to look at.

We rode the PM back to back several times last trip. We just gave the Cast Members on the loading deck the "go around" (finger swirling around in the air). If there wasn't a big queue they were happy to oblige.

we started the day at animal kingdom today. I would say the crowd calendar for the day was wayaaaayy off. Early in the day the crowd seemed light but by 11:00 you could hardly walk and all the rides were hitting th 50 + minute mark.

Still we managed to get on the rapids in 15 minutes.

Glad you are having a great time. I just got back from a long weekend of camping in my 2nd or 3rd favorite spot (the race track) for a Vintage racing event. It's not Disney or FW, but its still a chance for me to unwind a bit.

I am glad you are having a good trip and am signing on so that I can read every word and see every picture we have never been and are hoping to be able to go in June 2015. Our plan sawmill be to stay in the Cabins at Fort Wilderness.

Absolutely the most disgusting drink I have ever had. We had fun at the coke museum just standing around near that fountain to watch people's faces!
