Fort Wilderness in February

Ok...see if anyone can follow this. I am planning a trip in February using DVC points. My home resort is Saratoga. Should I make reservation at SSR now and then transfer the res to FW or shouls I just wait until August and book FW? I guess since FW isn't as many points, Im afraid I might lose some by booking now and then switching(if thats possible). Am I worrying over nothing? Should I book now? SHould I wait? Agghhhhhh....I need help.
