Fort Wilderness Holiday Sleigh Rides

Has anyone done this? We just booked ours for December. They started taking reservations today.

DD, DSiL, DGS, DW and I were booked into this last year. It started to rain just after we took the picture, so we had to cancel at the last minute. Trying to plan for DW and I to do this this year.

We did and wouldn't do it again. There wasn't anything to see except dark woods.

We did this last year during our Xmas week trip and it was a highlight of our trip! We had dinner before at Trails End & then walked over to the site.

The horse and "sleigh" were beautiful! Our driver was fantastic & even gave us blankets to keep us warm. DH & I were with our kids & they loved it.

We drove through the campground and got to see all the amazing Xmas displays & decorations. It really put us in the Xmas spirit! These campers really go all out for the holiday!

We would do it again in a heartbeat!

To the poster who said all they saw was woods, I'm confused. When did you go?

We did this 2 years ago on our last trip. Dh said it was one of the highlights of the trip for him. It was so magical to see all the campsites decorated for Christmas. Really felt the holiday spirit!

Thanks for the great feedback everyone- we are very excited. Our first stay @ VWL, too. We have stayed @ WL but never @ VWL- location is one of my DH favorites.

Oh my gosh, I had not heard about this! Going at Christmas with all the decorations is my favorite time to go.....how early do they start doing this?

We have done it as well and just loved it! The decorations are great-most people really go all out. We had a blanket as well that the driver provided-it was quite cold that year.

Just booked our ride for December 30th. The first day they start this is November 29th.

Great pics!!! But yikes!!!! $60 for a 25 minute ride? I don't know why I still have this reaction, but I still have sticker shock sometimes at Disney. You'd think I'd be used to seeing stuff like this. LOL And that looked like a 2 person sleigh only.

We had 4 people and as I recall could have held 1-2 more although I don't recall what they allow. There are 2 seats facing each other.
