Seems like many were confused when we were at FW this weekend, by the changes at the gate. :confused3 Now when checking in, use the right lane, the one that was just for buses. When returning during your stay, use the left lane and open the gate with your room key.

They have a sign posted, but old habits die hard, and for years we have been conditioned to stay in that left lane and wait for a friendly 'go ahead' from a guard.

I am actually so glad to hear that they have changed it, it seems that at times it took a long time to get in when they were checking new campers coming in, now it is more like all of the hotels do it.

This new drive through is an accident waiting to happen. Returning guests should be on the right side.

After using the new system this past weekend I can picture a returning guest trying to beat a new guest to the turn off after going through the opened gate.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Also, one thing about that right lane I found out this past weekend is that there is a little bit of an S turn they have you do right at the guard station is quite tight if you don't swing wide to the right at the beginning. I clipped the left tires on my 26' TT this past weekend. So make sure you stay to the right as you are approaching the guard station.

Also, it was so crowed last Fri. at about 7pm at checkin they had a CM standing on the grass to the right, right after you go through the guard station and was checking campers in there using a radio to another person at the office. I was lucky and was able to go with her and was checked in in less than 10min after I arrived. They delivered our room keys to the campsite the next morning.
