Fort Wilderness Campsite needed

I know this will sound impossible but DH, DD and myself have found that we will be able to take an unexpected trip during the Holidays. the dates are 12/28 to 1/4. We have been trying desperatley to get a campsite in Disney's Fort Wilderness. To noone's surprise they have nothing. We are trying daily but thought we would try to see if anyone had some insight to getting a cancled site. Any insite would be helpful.

Wow - I'm happy you are able to take the time off!!

As far as getting ressies, you have to be diligent calling CRO. By that I mean, as soon as they tell you "no" - hang up and call back - over and over again.

If you can, you might want to see if you can get into one of the other resorts. All-Star & Pop Century may be easier to get in to & they are probably cheaper than FtW.

I would call each day twice early in the A.M like 7 EST and again later in the evening like 7 P.M. Also, don't try and get all the days at once one or two to start with and then keep trying to add on. People cancel all the time and I think the time frame w/o penalty is like 5 to 7 days in advance so you might not get everything until the last minute.

Just wanted to say the Pixie Dust was with me tonight. After I posted I called again and was told nothing was open. When I hung up I tried online and got the dates I wanted!!! Once I got the rese I called to confirm and I had it, the cast member even could not believe it. Here to Dreams Do Come True. We're going to Disney!!!!

Congratulations! Good Job! WE have been trying for months to move up to a full or preferred from a partial and no luck. Please send us some pixie dust! Which were you able to get, full or preferred, just curious, if you don't mind my asking.
