Are there any codes or discounts for Fort Wilderness Campground in May. Anywhere that I could find this out. We are thinking of driving from Kansas!:rotfl: We have a 2 and 4 year old.:rotfl: Any comments on the campground would be great. We have never been there. Is it worth the drive?

The BUC code works for the campground, you can price it out on Disney's site. Click on the pink flowers at the bottom right of the homepage. I think it's around $35 a night.

Wow..thirty five dollars a night?...I'd check that out if I were you. I received a pin code mailer that gave a $64.00 a night rate for a prefered site...meaning electric, sewer, water, and cable. Are you sure about that $35.00 rate..if so I would give them a call it would be quite a savings. There is also a camping thread here on the Disboards..very helpful and informaive folks.

The cheapest I can get a preferred site is for $75. Is there a way for me to get the $64 pin?

Sorry about that, I just glanced really quickly at it. I guess it is around $65, anyhow, you can check it on the disney website and know for sure.

The pin code was a mailer I received..so it's sent to your address..they track it. So can't help you with that..but do ask for a AAA rate. It's at least 10% off. Also keep calling...especially first thing in the morning..I think around 7:30 or 8:00 because the system re-sets and if there were cancellations due to deposits not being received you might be able to grab one. You can make your reservation for the regular rate..and keep calling back for a AAA rate..and apply that if it becomes available. Also..have you checked if the new public code mentioned above is applicable to the campgrounds?

buc code can be booked/checked online. If you are wanting a package, there are coordinating package codes but you have to call to find out availability.

Looks like campsites are starting at about 53/ $60 including tax per night for partial hookups. about $5/ night savings.

What are the dates of the BUC code? We have a ressie for December and July 4th weekend...I know it won't apply to the July ressie, but I also want one for October, but the last time I called, the Saturday night was full, but there was availability for Friday and Sunday. I plan to try again in a few days to see if there has been a cancellation. I need the elusive preferred pet loop, but could give up cable if I can get a standard pet loop. I could even kennel the dog, but that always cost more than the pet charge at the Fort, but because of the size of our trailer, we have to have full hook-ups. We tried to reserve a partial hook-up once and were told that they were only available for pop-ups and we would have to go with a full hook-up.

I dont know the exact dates but it is april/may.

This must be the one I was having trouble pulling up on mousesavers.com. Unfortunately, the kids will be in school then and we won't be able to go that time of the year. Our spring break is the first week of April and we are going then for my older son's 10th birthday. We never seem to be able to get a camp site at a discount. We were able to get Saratoga Springs at an AP discount, but not FW! :(
