switched from BWI to the cabins. mistake?

pictures anyone?

:wave2: We have stayed at both before. We have 6 children and we loved the cabins :sunny: . The children loved being where they could go outdoors as soon as they woke up. We rented golf carts every time we have been at the cabins or camped. Trail's End is a great place to eat, and the kitchens are very useful!! I think you'll be happy.

If you want comfort and peace and quiet and are not concerned about a fancy pool - you will not be disappointed. We LOVE the cabins. It is amazing that you are so far away from it all - while being right in the middle of it all. The kitchen and separate bedroom are really nice. We loved eating out on the picnic table and even sat there a few evenings after putting the kiddos to bed. It reminded us in some ways of being in the Smoky Mountains.

Well, I switched back to BWI! Cabins look so cute and alot of fun but, we will only be there for a four nights. I will book the cabins for a longer trip though. Thanks anyway guys! :wave2:

Great sites............thanks soo much, we can't wait to get there!!!

the cabins at FW have Value Seasons, Regular Seasons, and Peak Seasons. I think the dates for each season are somewhat different (our last stay was in August which was regular season for some of the other resorts but value for the cabins.) I don't know why... :confused3 Our next visit is in mid January -- also value season.
CRO should be able to give you the precise dates and probably, if you root around enough on the WDW website, you'd be able to find them there too. GOOD LUCK!

If you are looking for laid back, the cabins are the best option. If you are looking for fancy, they are not.

At the cabins, you can park at your door, you can have a golf cart for transportation within your resort, you get a fridge, everything you need to cook if you want to, sleeping for 6, full maid service, a room with nobody on the other side of the wall, and a very relaxing atmosphere. You do not get fancy restaurants.

It's all about what your priorities are. I wouldn't choose to stay at the BWI, but I do like that location. I recently spent a few days at the Dolphin on business, and it was pretty nice being able to pop over to MGM for the Tower of Terror and the Rockin' Rollercoaster. I also enjoy going to EPCOT for dinner or margaritas.
