Yes, there is a parking spot at each cabin for a personal car. Head to the camping forum, they have so much knowledge and info over there.
We stayed one night in a cabin ( it was supposed to be two, but Hurricane Irma decided to join us), and really enjoyed it.

Yes, one vehicle + golf cart allowed per cabin site. 20 mph. All other vehicles/trailers must be parked at the front lot.

That's pretty much where it ends with using your personal vehicle on resort grounds. There's a couple of spots near the cabin pool/laundry and Meadow Trading Post (15 min max).
