Fort Wilderness Bicycle Rentals

I saw a price sign on *Fort Wilderness Resort Information ( a work in progress)* which included bike rentals. It stated that it was $11 for 60 minutes and $20 for a day. When checking the Disney website it said bike rentals are $18. How much time does the $18 refer to, an hour or the full day? Just wondering.

Regardless of if it's $18 or $20 for the daily rate, the bikes have to be turned back in at the end of the day. They cannot be held overnight. So whenever the Bike Barn opens (usually at 8am) to whenever it closes, you have to get the bikes that morning and return them by when they close (End of Day).

That's why people recommend buying a cheap Wal-Mart bike or renting from the place in Celebration or other places for multi-day rentals.

I rented a bike from the Bike Barn on one trip for a day so I know what I'm talking about. The $18/20 is a daily rate but like I said you have to return it by EOD.

I know this was a an older thread BUT what do you do with the bikes at the end of your stay if you buy them at Walmart?

If you have no way to transport them home, it would be awesome to post on here and possibly find another family who would love to use them. You could also put up a little sign at your campsite letting families know what you’re going to do with them and possibly someone would walk by and see it- and be the perfect family to use them when you leave

Orange or yellow tape on handle bars for identification, bike lock with number code. People could get location and code in this site, then repost location and code when finished. Easier storage between users then fire pit. Might just work.
