Squirrel gravy, sounds good ! Over at John's site There is a recipe on how to "clean and cook turtle", under thread "THE DUTCH OVEN."
And yes I eat turtle. Mmmmm!


Oh, just because I eat a lot of the wild type foods that god provides,,don't think that Denise does, she's pretty much city.

Turtle, huh? Can't say I've ever tried that before. What's it like?

It's all dark meat, not a lot of meat to a turtle,just the four leggs and if you really want to go to the trouble the small neck. When I was a kid my mother cooked it many ways, fried, baked, stewed, ,,,has a kinda dark taste to it, is the best way to explain it.Doesn't taste like any other meat. Most folk put so much with it, like making soup, that you can't taste the turtle. I like whole pieces of meat, so I crock mine or frie it.Mmmmmmm !!

Funny story;
Last week when we were camping Frank left to go take a shower at the CS, when he was gone 3 Police cars cruise thru, when he gets back I say, wonder what they were looking for? He says probably the perv who just took a shower in the womens CS by mistake.

Yeah, Maddie is here, she is a spaz that is afraid of the camera, hardwood floors, linonleum, and tile. You could put her food in the middle of a tile floor, and she would starve to death..... LOL
