Hey Kim. Welcome and if you haven't figured out yet, this group of folks are the sweetest and funniest bunch. This is a great place to come if you are sad, happy, angry, seeking advice on just about anything, hungry, bored, you name it. I always "log out" in a much better mood when I've been on here.

Now about the weather. Beautiful yesterday, not so much today. I'm not complaining. Okay, maybe I am.

Thanks for the warm Fort Wilderness welcome everyone! Now that I'm official, I've got a question...Who remembers the days before the Wilderness Cabins when there were only Disney TT's? That was where my family stayed on our first Fort Trip. Our loop was Bobcat Bend (can't remember the loop number off hand). I asked this on another thread, but no one replied :-( Am I the only one who remembers?

Yesterday after work, Denise and I had the pleasure of meeting mnsprk (Dave & Linda). They are passing thru Nashville and we got to have coffee with them in their lovely home. I would like to say, very good folk,,we need to get them to a couple GG"s,,they fit right in

Morning all! DS6 & DS5 are home from school sick today. So I'm grounded here at home, tired, bored and hungry, but otherwise happy! Anybody going to be at the Fort in July/Aug? I need a Fort Fix bad!
Weather is good here, although allergy season is in full force. Everyone in SC has been sick since winter.
P.S. You're right liv luvs disney! Everyone here seems terrific. That's why I wanted in! (I have run across a few stinker threads looking for a good one though!)

Thanks all....Yeah he is better now. He was sick for 5 days with something nasty but I would not worry too much otherwise except he is small for his age and I was just a nervious wreck. He kept asking if we are going to see the monorails soon. I said in about 5months so he was all happy.

PrincessMom4: That's great! My DS5 has athsma, so I know what it's like to worry over him ANY time he gets sick. Glad everything turned out OK! My 2 were home sick from school yesterday. I thought I'd kept them home for nothing as they were doing better, but, they both relapsed and are home again today. Seasonal allergens are horrible in my neck of the woods...pollen...pollen...pollen. Hopefully it will be over soon.
P.S. There's nothing like the promise of a monorail ride to make things all better!

I joked (and would if I could) that I would gladly donate 10lbs of my body weight to him...lol...He eats 4-5 peanut butter slices of bread in the morning, plus a morning snack (or 2) then lunch afternoon snacks, then supper (which we have recipes that hide things like butternut squash, zucchini, etc in it-Jessica Seinfield created one book that I use). Plus of course your beverages of water, juice, milk, the occassional fruit smoothy.

Drumroll please.........This is my 100th post! Good mornin' ya'll! I think I'm hooked on posting. Is their a support group for that? I'm all for taking the day off, but DS has a dental appt and I still have one home from school. Mommy duties never end! It's supposed to be a beautiful day here in SC, around 77, I think. Blue skies and sunshine all day! Great day for fishing or whatever you little heart desires. Minnie WISHES FOR A Zippadee Do Da Day!
