For those with kids -- when does the school year start in your district? I asked my brother & family to come, but he lives in Minnesota, and the first day of school is the day after Labor Day. So, his kids would miss the whole first week of school.

Down here in Florida, school starts in the middle of August. So, it's no big deal to pull the kids out of school for a few days in September.

How is it where you live?

We start the day after Labor Day too but with a little luck, my daughter will be graduating June 2011. THe last one in school.

Well, I am deeply depressed. Disney Cruise Lines asked for my Passport number and expiration date so I pulled out my passport. Unfortunately, I still had my old and original passport from 1989 also. I knew I should not have looked at the picture. Every cell in my brain said DON'T DO IT! Did I listen? Man, what 15 years does to you. I don't think I am going on this cruise. I am not sure I will be on this earth tomorrow let alone in 2011. It was nice knowing you all.

Mine start in August sometime too.....they were both very sad and distraught when I told them they may have to miss a couple of school days to suffer through a Disney cruise....but, being the troopers that they are...they have sucked it up and are willing to take one for the team. They are so valiant like that.....BWAHAHAHAA.....NOT!!!!!

John, not sure about your school district, but around here, they don't do much of anything important the first week of school. It actually might be the best time for Matt to miss school. Just sayin'....

Ive been digging throught the cruise boards, and decided that their "pic of the day" threads were so clutterd
with comments(much like our "Pic Of The Day" thread....but its OK if OURS is....it belongs to US!!!) and reposted
pics....so just to waste my day...Ive taken all the good(ILO) pics and posted them in one thread here...just to
keep us in the mood....its gonna be a long wait!!!

After going through about 40 pages.....Ive come to realize that I WILL be going on more than ONE CRUISE, I guess I WILL have a use for PASSPORTS after all!!!!
