fort crowd report

We arrived at the fort early Saturday and were surprised when we went looping that nearly every spot was full in every loop. The 2000 tent/pop up loop had 5 empty stops and one of the full hookup loops had a couple open spots. However, it really cleared out Sunday afternoon. It is much quieter here now! We had read the fort was drawing large weekend crowds but wanted to pop in to confirm this for anyone heading here soon.

Agreed we pulled in Sunday and it’s half full. Going out for a run Monday morning will count empty loops. Come say hi we are in 2137. I should be outside today working.

Thanks Dindi (and Kris),

I know the cooler months have historically had this pattern, but it seems more dramatic this year with Covid impacts. Enjoy the weekday calmness.

Our last visit in 2018 we were in 2143 - really like that loop if I were staying again in a FHU. We were hoping to get 1100 loop in our visit this April but had to cancel and hoping to rebook for April 2022.

on my run, saw lots of wildlife. I ran through most of the campsite loops this morning. Some loops were mostly full with a few open spots. Other loops were half full. Funny 100, 200, 900 and 1400 pretty full. 2000, 2100, 300, and 800 half full.

I will take it though. only one person around us at the moment. they are across from us.

One new person came in near us.

I'm in 311. This loop is pretty full. I would say over 75 percent.
