Formula 1 will NO LONGER be televised in the United States.

Was referring the races I HAVE watched in the past. Boring and no interest in watching F1.
uh huh but that's not all you mentioned in your comment. There's always less exciting races. Monaco is only on the schedule these days because it's tradition (most feel this way) but it's seen as generally a dull race although I enjoy how tight it can be because of the buildings it's not one that overtaking is done much at all. But it's how all sports are, some match ups are more exciting than others, some tracks are more exciting than others. Your comment literally just sounded like someone who heard vaguely of a sport (doesn't matter what sport) or maybe just had assumptions of a sport (doesn't matter what sport).

Semantics obviously, but the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences considered programs on streaming services for the Emmy Awards. I would think a live broadcast that could be sent to a TV would then be considered televised programming.
That is something that NEVER EVER EVER should have happened. That is what the Cable ACE Awards were for.

There are boring F1 races/tracks just like there are boring Nascar races/tracks. Those I just keep an eye on vs. watching every turn. I do the same with football/hockey/basketball/etc. Some are just more exciting than others.

I'm not sure how Apple will handle replays but I do know you won't be able to record races as they don't allow recording. I guess it's wait and see.

Some races the practices are where the action happens either car trouble (I don't root for crashes though) or action happening off the track like Christian Horner getting canned and the commentary is where you get to hear a lot of what has been happening. I've been enjoying Nico Rosberg being there as he has been giving more in-depth into the driving, driver battles, etc

Then you have races like this weekend where it's a Sprint race so that first practice maybe less exciting but then you jump right into Sprint Qualifying and then jump right into the Sprint race. Sometimes the track isn't as exciting but with less laps than the normal race that can change how aggressive (or risky) a driver may be.

Personally, I don't care if any Race is broadcast. But since I can pay someone to let me watch it on TV why is that any different than paying for cable TV or Direct TV or any company that feeds you a signal via cable or internet. It is only the delivery system and who you send the money too.
