I fly on monday:cool1:
Very long time coming this trip has been in the works for two years.
Last time I went I was booked with virgin holidays so did the vroom and filled in the customs and immigration forms in there before the flight this time I'm booked with disney so can't get vroom

I'm dyslexic and struggle with forms (I always make mistakes) last time the lady on the counter gave me spares so I could just redo it if I did it wrong.

So with the esta do I have to fill in any forms this time if so which ones and when will I get them?
If it's on the plane do you think they would mind if I asked for a spare to start if embarrassing to have to ask for another after I mess it up.

You still need to complete a customs declaration which is one per family. They usually hand them out at check in and there are no problems asking for spares - I usually do! :)

We didn't get ours at check in when we flew to the US this summer, the cabin crew came round and handed them out during the flight to anyone who needed them... but they will make sure you have one, and they should have a plentiful supply.

Last month we got them at check in with Aer Lingus, then they came around midflight to see if everyone had one.
If you get one at check in you could try do it in the airport before you leave then get another onboard if you make any mistakes. Also ask for a spare at check in, they don't mind.

The customs form you need to fill in on the plane but they have plenty of spares!

Your ESTA is done online and ideally a minimum of 48 hours before travel to give it time to authorise you.

You can fill your ESTA form in online.. I travel on the 28th Nov and filled mine in earlier this week.. Would mean you could do it at your own pace somewhere you feel comfortable. My bf is dyslexic and he finds it easier if he isn't required to complete something under time. I know they usually give you quite a bit of time when you fill it on the plane, but taking that away all together really seems to help him. Hope this helps! :)

As well as the ESTA which is completed online prior to travel your BF will have to complete a customs declaration form on the plane still. It is one per family but as you are not married you will need one each.
