forms of payment at DTD and BW restaurants?

Do the restaurants at DTD and Boardwalk accept your Disney room key as payment?

I have a few hundred dollars in Disney gift cards and Disney Visa rewards cards. I'd like to be able to charge our meals on our room card and pay the room bill with these gift/reward cards.

I've never tried to do this and don't want to be surprised when we get there!

Many of the resturaunts in DTD are on the DDP so I would assume you can use your KTTW card.

are not on the DDP you can still use your room card to pay. At least at some of them. Rainforest Cafe in DTD is not on the DDP but we pay with the card each time. The only thing that is different is they have to run the card after the tip has been added. I don't know if that is an RF issue or a Disney policy.
