Clinton bombed an aspirin factory in Sudan, but that went unnoticed by the left.

It did? It was all over that so-called liberal media. And I wasn't happy about it.

Don't you get it?! It has nothing to do with "hind sight" except that we are only learning the truth now!

"It was 9am on July 23, 2002, eight months before the invasion began and long before the public was told war was inevitable. "

I get it thank you very much.

I read it too.

So?

Do you think they just decided, "hey, let's invade Iraq tomorrow after lunch".

Don't you think that FDR started planning to go to Europe long before he announced it even though Germany hadn't declared war on us yet?

Actually, this wouldn't shock me.

Well, for one thing my other choice was Kerry.

Second, I don't blame Bush for the mess that the former administration started.

Do you believe everything Rush tells you?

Ah, another President Bush bashing thread! How unique!

The swine has well earned our distain.

I'd be willing to bet that you'll be seeing alot more of it judging from his tanking approval ratings.

Funny how Bush has been in office for an entire term plus, yet everything is still entirely Clinton's fault. Let me guess -- Tom DeLay's unethical behavior is Clinton's fault, too? Abortion rates are rising since Bush has been in office, despite an almost 18% decline during the Clinton administration? Must be Clinton's fault! Federal government cuts veteran's benefits during wartime? Man, must be that tax-and-spend liberal Clinton again.

Hmm..I wonder if that approach will work in my everyday life; "Sorry, I didn't make it to work on time; I was stuck in traffic because there are too many cars on the road and I had to wait to fill up at the cheap gas station; it's the Clinton administration's fault for not developing a comprehensive energy plan!"

(I guess if that doesn't work, I can do what everyone else does and blame it on the liberal media. I'll take the current administration's tack: Distract from the matter at hand brought up by the actual story; make it about the media instead, and then do whatever you possibly can to discredit any independent media source -- the less trust people have in the media, the easier it is to get away with whatever you want.)

To be sure, but FDR didn't twist the intelligence to start a war and there in lies the rub.

Is that really the best argument you have?

Oh that's right, you've already used the Clinton excuse...what else is there?

Oh and you forgot that all that peace and prosperity during the Clinton years was due to Ron Reagan.

i dont know how people can say this mess was stated by the former admin
if anything its the senior bushs fault for finishing the job
we went in based on lies
what scares me is that i dont thinki have ever heard bush say i was WRONG
it takes a man to admit mistakes
and your a lying fool if you dont think the gop knows they are just doing what ever they want cuz they have the house and senate

whats going on now in teh senate is a good example repiblicans use the filibuster to but now cuz someone wants to use it against them its like oh well lets take it away

i mean doesnt scare some one of you how they ALL lie and say one thing and do another
i mean frist and especially delay are men that i would never vote for especially delay hes obviouslt corrupt, dishonest and they way he talks is scary especially about judges
the other day santorum compared the dems to hilter
they always say sorry after actually they dont ......
i dont like where are country is head and i think bush could be doing more to unite the country
i didnt read all of the thread as after 4 posts someone was blaming clinton
you giys gotta off that you cant blame everything on him ...
its over hes gone
move on just like you tell dems to about bush not getting elected and then getting elected

Do you really believe there would have been peace in the Clinton years if Reagan had not brought down the Soviet Union and brought the United States out of an economic tailspin?

Bush has to go.

Sometimes I wish these people would climb out of the tree they're protecting and join the real world.

I supported Bush in 00 and 04. And if I could I would vote for him. :)

Hillary SUX!!!!!!!!!!!
