Former lurker, now a newbie

Hi all . I'm trying out my new account. I'm so glad that I came across the DIS. You see, I'm the Disney fanatic in my household, but my DH, DD(18), and DD(14) are more than willing to feed mom's obsession (if they must... sigh). Fortunately, we live near enough to the mouse that an occasional quick weekend trip isn't out of the question. If only that darn job didn't get in the way! Just kidding. I work to finance my Disney habit.

We're leaving on the 10/26 sailing of the Magic (its my big forty-ten birthday trip) and I've gotten so many tips from reading the posts of all you great DISers. Thanks! You all are the best !

Hi, your family sounds somewhat similar to mine. I wish we lived that close though. I've been lurking for a long time too. I finally decided to join in the fun, Glad you decided to jump in too.
