Hi everyone! I am a former lurker of the disboards, and finally decided today to register and do a pre trip report :rotfl: ! This is a very last minute pre trip report, and also a VERY crazy one. I'll start you off with the general information!

Dates: May 1, 2008-May 7, 2008

Package Details: 6 nights at All Star Sports, 7 day magic your way park hopper and more tickets plus Disney Dining Plan.

I am planning this trip by myself for 8 People. Just little old me, a computer, my boyfriend, my parents and 4 of our friends :surfweb:. We have been planning since December, when I convinced my parents to go to Disney World, and Pay for my boyfriend and I to go to Disney World!!!! Then one by one, friends said "I wanna go too!" And it turned into what I call Disney Mania:cool1:

Next Post..... Meet the Cast of our CRAZY trip!!!!

I would Introduce you with pictures to the cast, but I can't post pictures. I keep getting the error: Could not find phrase error_postcount_too_low_post_links. I think that means I haven't posted enough to put pictures in. Or maybe not. Any Ideas?

Anyways, I guess I'll go into my plan and ADR's. It was hard to get ADR for groups of 6 or 8!!! Here's our plans and ADR's day by day.:dance3:

Day 0 (4/30)- I call this day Zero because we aren't actually leaving for Disney that day. We're going to stay at a hotel in Hartford for the night so we don't have to get up at 4 AM to catch or plane. We're leaving at 6:00 for the hotel, yayyyy!!!

Day 1, Thursday, (5/1)- Airplane leaves at 7:45 AM, arrives in Orlando at 10:28 AM. Take Disney's Magical Express to All Star Sports. After we get to All Star Sports, we hope our room will be ready, but probably not. We're going to explore the resort, eat in the food court, and hang around until around 3. Then we're doing Downtown Disney for Dinner- Reservations for House of Blues. Here's where I need some advice. I really want to experience Wishes in MK, but we're spending most of our evenings in Epcot and Downtown Disney. The first night is the only night where I could possibly get to MK. Here is my idea: Make an early reservation for HoB (around 5:30), then hop on the ferry to PoR, catch a bus to MK and enjoy the fireworks the first night. Is that too much? Could I even make it on time? I need advice Please!!!!
Questions for Day 1: Anyone have any experience with all star sports and DME? Do the All Star Resorts typically have their Own DME Bus?

Day 2, Friday, (5/2): Breakfast at MK (not sure where yet, any suggestions?). Spending the day at MK, ALR at Tony's Town Square. Take the Monorail to Epcot for ADR at Japan for 8:45. Wandering through the Countries until the crowd thins out.

Day 3, Saturday (5/3): Boardwalk for Breakfast. We're going to take the bus to mgm, then take the boat to the boardwalk or walk. Then we're going to enter through the international gateway to the countries at Epcot. Spend the day at Epcot, with a 12:30 ALR for Germany. Question- Are buffets considered counter service meals or sit down meals?. Maybe heading back in the early evening for some fun at the resort pool. ADR at Planet Hollywood at 10:15 P.M (we're late eaters):confused3 .

Day 4, Sunday (4/4): Blizzard Beach During the day. Free Afternoon for whatever we feel. Probably going back to MK for the afternoon, or resting. ADR at Raglan's Road for 11:00 PM:rotfl2: That'll be an interesting one, thats for sure. Question: Anyone eaten at Raglan's Road? Thoughts, comments are appreciated!!!

Day 5, Monday (4/5): MGM Day! ALR at Sci Fi Dine Inn 11:20, ADR for Hollywood and Vine at 7:20, Fantasmic at 10:30. Question- How early should we arrive for the late seating?? Do we still need to arrive real far in advance, or are there less people? Let me know

Day 6, Tuesday, (4/6): Free Morning for wherever our little hearts want to go. Possibly the board walk for lunch, then into MGM or EpcotADR for Rose and Crown Pub at 8:00 for Fireworks!!!! Anyone done this for the fireworks? how was the view?

Day 7, Wednesday (4/7): Plane leaves at 6:45 PM, so we have a good chunk of the day. Probably back to MK, or somewhere yummy for lunch we didn't get to do:) Then we'll be gone from Disney world until who knows when.:guilty: :guilty:

Those are the plans. Any feedback would be great please!!! Help a Newbie out!!!!

You're getting that message because you need to have so many posts to the board before you can post pictures. I believe it's 10...?

Buffet's, I'm pretty certain, count as sit down meals.

If you can't make it to MK to watch the fireworks, you can get a pretty nice view of them from the beach at Poly. It's not quite the same as being there, but it might be easier for you.

That's all the information I know. I'm sure someone will let you know if I am wrong.

Your ADR's look good. I haven't eaten at any of them but have read good things! I can't wait to read more!

Fantasmic at 10:30. Question- How early should we arrive for the late seating?? Do we still need to arrive real far in advance, or are there less people? Let me know

I saw Fantasmic last May. We were at the 8:30 show. I got there about forty minutes before the show started and the stadium was about 3/4 of the way full. If you all want to sit together, you should get there kinda early.
