hi!

kitty's doing pretty well. actually, a little better than the oncologist ever expected. they think she is in "semi remission", so they will try a different drug friday and for the three subsequent weeks to see if they can push her into remission. this was never a possibility, so i'm pretty happy about that. in the mean time, she's happy too.

ready for your trip? i saw that there is an indian restaurant now, called sanaa, at the animal kingdom villas. that's where i'd be heading straight away if i were visiting any time soon.

To Tink and Honu, y'all do know that, every time y'all mention Sonic, I end up taking a trip to one - last week it was for a cherry Diet Dr Pepper [pretty good - my first one] and today it was for a bacon cheeseburger with tots [except I didn't get bacon on mine - Tink, could you talk to them about that for me?]. I *had* to eat big today because I'm spending my afternoon doing some major spring cleaning....after I finish here of course...and a couple of other sites and take my nap and eat a snack and walk my dog....

I'll yell at 'em for ya.

I'm trying to clean up the house - something I've avoided for way too long. I heard about that new Indian restaurant. I like Indian food but, often times, it doesn't like me. I am getting pretty excited about my trifle [hopefully].

I'd heard about Remy making an appearance, too - that would totally freak me out too - he looks pretty real to me....

Hi, everyone. Can you guys send some good thoughts and prayers my way? It's a worrisome time my co-workers and me. I'm not supposed to talk about it just yet because it has not been announced to everyone. They tell us that no more plant closings will be announced until July, but it is painful in either case. I'm thankful to still have a job, but we all feel like we are being bled dry and still don't have any idea what is down the road. Our union has some things to think about and I'm praying they will think about everything beyond the hurt and anger, for everyone involved.

Our Memphis and Covington plants have already fallen and they weren't union. No one blames the union either way. It's just hard for us to already be affected and so unsure of what will still happen.

I was incorrect. Memphis was a union facility. Covington was not.
