Yeah, Reagan needed, um, help ridding himself of the sock remains. I'm glad dh was here to do it. I heard about it after the fact from the kids, who thought it was both disgusting and pretty cool. Kids!

Reminds me of when Rowdy ate his leash....and I had to make sure he pooped out all of it....I'll spare more details but I did feel a bit like Tink's pumpkin.

Yes, we loved it so much - Soarin' and I went there for an early birthday treat for her. I can't believe I managed to keep it a surprise until we got to the GF. Everything was delicious - we had sandwiches, onion tarts, scones, raspberry tarts and trifle! Thank you for that suggestion - it really made our time together so special.

About the cheetahs, they appeared on my third trip on the safari - in the original picture, they probably are hiding in the shadows - I cropped all the shadows out so it does seem as if they are posing....gotta love that cropping.

Yay for August trip! I came so close to going to Casey's for their corn dog nuggets but couldn't quite my location and appetite to work together on that one. I did go to Columbia House and had the tuna sandwich - are you the one who recommended it? If so, it was delicious - I sat upstairs almost all by myself - nice and peaceful.

Our CM at Ellen's was doing the same thing....funny how he kept repeating that over and over.

Hey, everyone. My laptop got a virus and DH is going to have to completely reformat it; everything on there is lost, I think. He's going to try and get as much as he can. Right now I'm on his laptop.

Yay for another DL trip!!!!! You HAVE to go - we've just got to see more pictures of your sweet Robbie and his adorable expressions.

Aw, thanks! Yeah, I'm kind of partial to his expressions.
Right now he's eating a half-sandwich of peanut butter and is refusing to go to sleep.
I hope we can go and take lots of pictures.

This coming Thursday Hancock Fabrics is having another pattern sale. Last week I got 8 Simplicity patterns for $15, if I'd bought them regular price it would have been $120! This week is Butterick's for $.99.
There are five patterns I'm going after.
I saw a Finding Nemo sheet at a thrift shop and am going to buy it to make Robbie some outfits. Wouldn't that be cute for DL?

I've been AWOL for a while - been busy with family stuff. My sister is supposed to have her surgery this week (well, it was supposed to be last week, but the hospital majorly messed up). If you're the praying type, would you pray that it goes well?

It's a GORGEOUS day here! I have the windows open and I'm just soaking in the fresh air. Plus my house is clean! Oh, and I had my annual today (gosh, I hate, hate, hate those things) so I have a full year until my next one! Yay me!!!

How are you all doing? Honu - how are you? I haven't been able to go back through the thread yet. Maybe I'll be able to do that later today.

I've been AWOL for a while - been busy with family stuff. My sister is supposed to have her surgery this week (well, it was supposed to be last week, but the hospital majorly messed up). If you're the praying type, would you pray that it goes well?

It's a GORGEOUS day here! I have the windows open and I'm just soaking in the fresh air. Plus my house is clean! Oh, and I had my annual today (gosh, I hate, hate, hate those things) so I have a full year until my next one! Yay me!!!

How are you all doing? Honu - how are you? I haven't been able to go back through the thread yet. Maybe I'll be able to do that later today.

Hey there! Hopefully your sister's surgery goes well.

It's sunny here, which is a nice change.

I'm hanging in there. I don't think there's going to be much doubt now that I'm headed for a second surgery of some kind. I had my 6 week MRI today. I don't know what it did/didn't show, won't know that for a few days. If nothing shows up on there, then there's a good chance I'll be losing my adrenal glands. One of my tests, ACTH, which is the hormone that tells the adrenals to make cortisol, came back at pre-surgery levels. I had the draw done on Friday and got the results back today. I'm waiting to hear from my endo, but that's not a very encouraging sign... So I've been crying a lot about that today. Not much I can do but pick myself up, dust myself off, get off my hydrocortisone ASAP and start testing again.

after i wrote that post i checked and there they were again online!!! hooray!!!! i miss the stores so much. they always had great prices on fabrics that were pretty unusual. loved it.
