Former Lasagne Lovers Meet Here!!!

Great to read the good news about Honu.....:woohoo: Dhe handles all this like a trooper:thumbsup2 better than I might have.

well, my big question is....

how did she do in bingo???? [hope she was easy on 'em over there...]

thanks, Tig, for all the updates. Honu sure is blessed to have a great friend like you

and, Disneymomok - go Oklahoma! [this is the right Oklahoma, isn't it?]

I am not picky. Any good news is welcomed!:)

Have you seen the movie "21" with Kevin Spacey?? This guy calls him "dude", and he says with a straight face, "Don't call me "dude"." Anyway, it annoys The Mayor when I refer to him as "dude", because he is my elder, and I should respect him. So, that compels me to call him "dude", because I like to rile him up.:lmao: Dude, dudedudedude, duuuuude!!!:rotfl2:

I know people that walk on thin ice but you just love to jump up and down on it, don't you:lmao:

I'm so glad that honu is doing well. Bless her heart (and I mean that in my sweet grandma's way), she is such a sweetie.

Ted Bundy grew up believing the same thing:scared1:!

If you call Disney florist, you can ask for Peggy. She is FeralPeg on the DIS and a very sweet woman. She might be able to make a Disney Florist basket with the Cinderella movie, a chocolate slipper, a music box that plays "Once Upon a Dream" or a combination of the 3. She's very clever and used to own her own company where she made special baskets.

This sounds like a great idea! And I'm glad to hear about Honu! :thumbsup2

Batman is eating lasagna... just sayin'

I'm so happy to hear that Honu's doing well!

Hey here's a real live Disney question! ::MickeyMo I've seen it asked but forgot the answer and I know I could go over to the Theme Park board, but I'd rather ask you guys! :)

DS turns 10 on Monday. We're going for one night on Sunday night at ASMu and then to EPCOT for the day on Monday. His child AP doesn't expire until mid-April. Will I just lose the days on the child AP, since he has to have an adult ticket on Monday? How does that work?

And to stay OT-I LOVE Lasagna!! :lovestruc

Don't ask, don't tell...I'm sure you won't end up in Disney hell over one day:lmao:...just use his child AP.

Well, that thought did cross my mind, but it's his birthday and he wants to get the shopping card and I have to show his birth certificate.

Honu update!!!!!

I called the hospital again and I got to talk to Honu!!! :woohoo::cool1::banana: We ended up chatting for almost two hours. She is doing very well. Fortunately, she is still mostly pain-free. She thought that she was going to have to take some major medication, but all she has been taking is Tylenol. Amazing!!! :cheer2: She was able to walk around today and was able to walk all the way to the hospital's gift shop. It was a little tiring for her, but she still made it! She said that she may be able to leave the hospital in the next couple of days. She'll be staying in the hospital's hotel when she gets "sprung". Oh, and she said that she met a couple of cute neurosurgery guys. Hey, hey, hey!!! ;) :cool1: Sadly, the guy that was cuter recently went on vacation. Too bad. :guilty: (Honu, are you getting pictures of these guys? I hope so!)

I asked her if she had gotten our messages and she said yes!! She also told me that she got all the cards, the quilt and all of the other gifts that you guys sent. She was so surprised and thrilled. She said thank you to everyone. She'll come on the DIS later tonight or tomorrow so that she can tell you herself. DisneyMomOK, Honu LOVED the McDreamy card!!

(By the way, Debbieandroo, I asked her how she did at bingo. She said that she wasn't able to join in the bingo game because it was too far from her hospital room. The doctor won't let her walk around too much. She was really disappointed because she was really looking forward to that! The girl's gotta have her bingo fix! :rotfl2:)

She seems to be really happy at the hospital. She said that everyone is really friendly and caring. She said that the food is great, too! She read me the menu. So far she has had meatloaf, turkey, chicken enchiladas, potstickers, creme brulee (yes, creme brulee!!!) and a lot of other great dishes. They even have shrimp, steak, pizza, key lime pie and tons of other great choices. She said it's like eating in a 5-star restaurant! And yes, they also have Jello. They wouldn't be a real hospital if they didn't have Jello. :lmao:

I told her that we all said hi and that we're keeping her in our thoughts and prayers. You should all be hearing from her soon. I will give her another call tomorrow. :thumbsup2

Well, that's all folks! I'll keep you guys posted if I get any more news. :teeth:
