i have just seen on ebay a ad saying they are a former cast member that can give insider information about for example which line to stand in when waiting in queues the seller is offwdw4fun from the usa has anyone had this info and is it useful,or am i on the best info service here :disrocks: :thumbsup2

I remember reading sometime ago that someone had paid for "inside" info and then found they could get better off the Dis.
If I were to pay for info I would go with one of the itinerary planners - they seem to know their stuff.

I agree - ive yet to a question that hasnt been answered by the wonderful people here on the DIS!!

My opinion - why pay 1 person for their advice when you can get advice from loads of people here for free

Just read this thread, I am a cast member here in the Uk. im sure some of you are aware there is a section on here that only cast members have access to, Im going to post this thread on there and will feedback any responses(as the majority are WDW cast)!!.

I for one wouldnt pay for any info!!

my bro was is a former cast member and he doesn't have extra info as he was working to much think the ebay dude is in it for the money..

:disrocks:

  This is the best place for info

I've had a look, now. It's an ebook. The author is a travel writer, as well as an ex-CM. Seems OK for $14.95. She says:

Share it with your friends, relatives and neighbors and everybody will thank you.

Presumably I could buy it and share it with my DIS friends. :thumbsup2

I wouldn't pay that for an e-book. You can buy a guide book for cheaper.

if you want to do that I would go with Tour Guide Mike..

I love his touring plans.. way better than anything else we have ever tried..
I cant say anything else on his site is worthwhile when you know Disney as well as us, but the what days which parks info has transformed our holidays.

sorry ukdeb i dont know how to do a link i will ask my secretary how tommorow :confused3 i am lucky i can post a thread i am so computer illiterate :rotfl2: :rotfl2: but if you put in seller offwdw4fun in the advanced search option this should bring it up(i hope) :lmao: thanks for your comments and i will save my money for some computer lessons :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

NO!!!!!! dont' even consider it!

It will NOT give you any more info than this forum...trust me. :thumbsup2

There are people on eBay selling e-books which " give you all the inside info "...including " a web link to " the best unofficial WDW guide on the net which is packed full of tips for WDW"...have one guess what they're referring to...Yes!! this forum!! and charging £2.99 for the privilege!

Which line to queue in???? Easy ...the left side line...since Americans drive on the right and their minds are focussed that way. Best time to aim for rides??? Lunch time , when people are eating! It's all so obvious and not worth paying for...... :teacher:

Please don't fall for it.....if the seller was so good at inside info...they'd have a legit book on the subject....not some crappy e-book link.....

Any info ..or inside tips you want...you're already in the right place..and best of all...it's FREE!!!!!! :cheer2:  :thumbsup2

Here's the link.

I'm seriously considering buying it. I love the DIS, I subscribe to TourGuideMike, I own virtually every guide book on WDW, so this is just one more to add to the collection. Nothing wrong with ebooks - at least there's no p&p to pay! I'm not necessarily expecting to learn anything new, but this clearly isn't a scam.

this is another similar one that promises free flights, tickets, meals & upgrades

Well, I've bought it - immediate download upon payment. Once I've had a chance to read it, I'll let you know whether it's worth shelling out £8 for.

how about 'sharing it' so we can all give a subjective opinion?? :)

OK, it's well-written and presented, but, unless you're a WDW novice, I'd save your money. On the plus side, it contains information which would undoubtedly take a long time to assimilate yourself, and it is all neatly packaged in one place. Because it's an ebook, it's available immediately you make your payment - no waiting for the postman. It's up-to-date with all the latest information and there is unlimited access to future updates.

For the planning-obsessed, though, there's nothing new here at all. And despite the advertising blurb suggesting sharing it with friends, relatives and neighbours, it does contain the usual copyright notices.
