Former 20k Leagues Area

I know many of us hated to see 20K close, but one good thing to me has come out of its closing. We just returned from DW and when walking through Fantasyland in front of Pooh, there is now so much more room. It makes passing through this area so much easier and does not seem nearly as crowded. I would take 20K back in a heart beat, but I really do like what they have done with this area.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea is the most prominent memory I have of my first visit to WDW when I was little. I do miss it. But you are right, there is a lot more room and quiet area back there now if you want to take a break from all the Fantasyland buzz.

Wish they would do something with the bottleneck between Small World and Peter Pan's Flight

Well, don't get used to it. It is being turned into a play area based on winnie the pooh. Supposedly the play area is just a placesetter until they come up with something more permanent, probably a new ride. The good thing about the area is that will take some of the kids out of the lines to play around there, but I really can't wait for a real ride to be put there.

Now if they would just get that castle out of the way!
