FORMAL NIGHT START

I Know that they do some kind of red carpet thing on formal night with photo opportunists and drinks and stuff does anyone know the start time of this. we have Palo reserved at 6pm this night and still want to part take in the formal activities

bumping up bc this is a good question. Also, which night is Formal night generally on a 7 night ? we have Palo booked at 6:00 on night 4. It seems to be getting in the way of a few things though so I might just skip Palo this trip.

Formal night is typically on night 2, with semi-formal being night 6.

As far as I know, the Red Carpet thing is done in the lobby to the Walt Disney Theater on the Golden Mickey's night. Photo opportunities are available most evenings in the atrium. The Captain's Gala (semi-formal night) get together is just prior to both dinner seatings in the atrium.

On 7 night voyages or longer, formal night is typically on the first full sea day, which isn't always the second night. Additionally they hold the Captain's Reception, when there is a chance to meet the captain and get a photo with him. This is one of our favorites to buy as the date and ship info are printed on the photo.

As stated there are lots of photo ops on deck three and 4 with nice back drops. There will also be severs circulating with free drinks alcoholic and non.

Quick edit, the Captain's Reception happens twice, approximately 5:15 and 7:15 to accommodate both seatings.

Nope, there is no formal night on the three night voyages and I believe there isn't one on the 4 night either.

If you are on the Fantasy, on the first full day at sea the live music and cocktail reception in the atrium generally begins at 5pm, with captain's photo ops from 5:15 to 5:45pm. This is repeated starting at 7:30pm, with captain's photo ops from 7:30 to 8:00pm. As with everything, subject to change of course.

So the captain's gala happens on the semi formal night with is day six on the western fantasy. What happens on formal night day two on the cruise.

Not officially, but there is no reason you couldn't dress up one night. You'd just probably be the only ones.

Is there former night on a three day?

It's actually called optional dress up night. On my 3, 4, and 5 night cruises, I've never seen people dressed formally. You should think a nice dress that someone might wear to church or a wedding.
