On our June cruise, DCL had changed the formal night and Captain's Dinner to Thursday night, the second day at sea. I saw on Barb's site that the 10/11/03 navigator lists the Captain dinner/formal night to Monday night. Can any recent Western cruises give us a heads up on which night is formal and how the rotation now goes. I need to figure out what night to book Palo, etc for our 1/3/04 cruise.
Thanks!

we went on the 10/11/03
cruise and formal night was on monday

apl is the seating to get if u would like to be in the fancy rest. for formal night..

Can you tell me how your dining rotation went then on your cruise since they changed the Captain's gala? The first 3 nights used to be the menus from the restaurants that you were in. How do they handle that now? Is is regular menu, regular menu, Captains menu and then regular menu? I would assume you would then go to Mexicali menu, Arund the World and then Best of, or have they completely changed the way the rotational menus are?
Thanks for your help.

It was the same as it was last October on the Western (I also cruised on 10/11) The first 3 nights are regular menus...the Captains Gala is on Semi-Formal night. Mexicali night is still on Wednesday when you are at Cozumel. The Captain's welcome reception (read free beverages) is still on Formal night--Monday. The other nights are the same as they used to be (small world, etc.)
